The DS-01® formula contains 24 clinically and scientifically studied probiotic strains and a polyphenol-based prebiotic, for benefits in and beyond the gut. A: You didn't read the directions it says the first three days take one and after that start taking two to see if your stomach in the a.m. and you don't have to have food on your stomach. You can take it with whatever you want to drink it with

We suggest taking the capsules on an empty stomach to limit exposure to digestive enzymes and bile salts, but if it’s more comfortable for you to take DS-01® before/after a meal or alongside food, we encourage you to choose the best method for you. Taking the capsules with water or juice is also absolutely fine. There is no best time of day to take them— we recommend whatever fits best into your routine!

A: I only swallow with food and these are not bad. Pretty standard size.

We wouldn't recommend opening or tampering with the DS-01® Daily Synbiotic capsules in any way, as our ViaCap® is especially designed to ensure the bacteria stay alive through digestion and make it to the colon. That said, you may certainly try experimenting with how you may be able to tolerate the capsules—any method in which you can preserve the 2-in-1 ViaCap® capsule would be perfectly fine. Our allergen panel includes over 20 of the most common allergens, including all 14 classes of allergens as defined by the European Food and Safety Authority (EFSA). All allergens we test for are below the ED-01, so our probiotics are therefore considered to be safe for those with allergies to the tested-for allergens. A: Hi there—while DS-01® Daily Synbiotic was specifically formulated with adults (18+) in mind, the probiotic strains are safe and tolerable for children/teens with a steady-state microbiome (3+ years). Therefore, it should generally be fine for children to try DS-01®. Ultimately, however, we always encourage consulting with a pediatrician or health practitioner before starting a child on any health regimen, as they can best advise with the added knowledge of their health history in mind.
