Great price & works well! My plant has been thriving in this. I love that it’s a lightweight pot which makes it easier to transport from inside the house, outside to water, then back inside after watering with some extra weight added on. After watering, the water will collect in the bottom compartment along with some soil that has seeped through the holes. Eventually, the water is absorbed by the plant. I haven’t experienced root rot as other reviews have said. Maybe they’ve been overwatering their plants? Maybe I’ve been under watering mine? Not sure. And I can now see roots growing into the water compartment in the bottom which is also a benefit that it tells you it’s time to make a size upgrade.

Holds too much water so gnats and root rot are inevitable. If in a dry climate, might work for outdoors, but NOT for indoor use.

These are great planters for the price. I have a few of my pothos growing in these and they thrive. I don’t have to worry about overwatering bc they drain out to the catcher and if I do put it in the sink for a rinse and thorough watering I can pop off the bottom or carefully tip it to let the excess water drain. You can even place in ceramic pots if they’re too boring for you
