If you're looking to use this at a camp site where you won't have access to AC power, you may be able to inflate using an AC car adapter - but you'd want to test this out ahead of time to make sure your car has enough power to get the pump to turn on. Otherwise, you'd need a generator or some other power supply at the campground. Hope this helps to answer your question!
A: No way to manually inflate this that I can see. If you're handy you could probably rig something up-- there is a pass-through vent on the control panel where the air enters the mattress, which you could use for letting air in. If you set it to firm (or any other setting) it will allow the air in and out with no trouble. Hope this helps! It's otherwise an amazing mattress.
A: You can use an inverter that hooks directly to your vehicle battery posts; it will need sufficient power capacity to run the internal pump in the mattress. Consider carrying an extension cord as well.

Although this air mattress has an internal pump that will auto-inflate your air mattress in about 3 minutes & automatically shut-off when fully inflated to your desired comfort level, it does not have the secondary NeverFlat pump that maintains air pressure throughout the night. The TPU is used as the backing material of the outer polyester material of the air mattress. The air mattress is easy to patch if you get a small hole. Hope this helps to answer your question!
