This is the 2nd electric blanket I've got for my 99 yr old mom. I paid more thinking of get better quality. It's real small, took a long time to get here and for what I paid, it should have been at least a full size. That's my fault for not reading the details on the size.

It has worked well. The blanket itself is soft and cozy. It gets nice and warm (with 5 different settings) without being too hot. It also has an automatic shut off which gives me peace of mind when I fall asleep using it. My favorite feature is that it is machine washable.

The never thing I noticed was the 3 year warranty which is very nice as heated products are sometimes hit or miss for me. I love that it's a Serta. Serta makes high quality products and they are a brand I trust. The controller is well placed, easy to hold and easy to use. 5 temperature settings is nice and much better than just 3. Sometimes you need that in between. This blanket seems warm without the heat being on, but then again it is summer where I live so all blankets feel pretty warm right now. I'm excited to use this blanket on a chilly fall morning with a hot cup of cocoa! So cozy.

I already bought one more but plan to buy several for Christmas gifts this year! Easy to use, not overly bulky, WARM which will be great in the winter. I can hand wash it and it would still work. Keeps me nice and warm up to 3hrs. After 3hrs it will automatically shut off. You can choose temperature up to 5 for heat mode. 1 is the lowest heat and 5 is the highest heat. I can also just shut it off by pressing power switch down 3 seconds. It's easy to connect cords to throw. I highly recommend this Serta Plush Heated Throw.

There are multiple heat settings so it's easy to find that "just right" amount of warmth. I do wish it were a little fluffier so I didn't feel the wires so much but it's still pretty soft. Definitely make sure there are no creases or it will not heat sections past the crease.
