A: Hi N - These curtains would be perfect in your home! If you want to get the wrinkles out you can either use a steamer or wash them and then place in the dryer on low or no heat. That should do the trick for you. Thanks for asking. - Heather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These drapes are fantastic. Soft, velvety, luxurious feeling, with just the right sheen. They have a heft without being cumbersome. They do an effective job of blocking out light in that they are opaque—however the total amount of light that is let through will be determined by your gaps around your window opening, so don’t expect complete black-out unless you are able to seal all the light gaps. But they do block out enough light that we can sleep in this room in the daytime if needed. They transform the look of a room, as you can see in my photos.

They feel luxurious! The sun shines directly in my daughter's bedroom in the morning. These block all the sun out, so she isn't getting woke up so early in the morning. That's exactly what we needed them for. The fact they look so good is an added plus!

The plaid curtain gives a nice low glow. I hope the fold lines come out with hanging. I just put them up so I'll give them some time. They are a great color green. My photos do not give them justice.

I was tempted to use it as a comforter but that wont work out lol. I am waiting for my steamer to arrive so I could iron it out however I have a feeling that it would straighten out in its own!

Has a poly velvet pocket on the back of curtains making it easy to slide your rod through. The materials the curtains is made with is poly and velvet very nice curtains. Not room darkening, more like light filtering. I hung them with wood slat blinds and they still let in a ton of light.
