Set of 2 Metal Pocket Watch Style Wall Clocks - Olivia & May

I bought them both because I wanted the red one to hang in my newly remodeled kitchen, and I think the pocket watch effect is really cute. It gives them an old timey, vintage look which is appealing. There were several clocks to choose from in that style, but something that was 24 inches wide was just too big. These clocks by Olivia & May are the perfect size. I put the red one on the wall next to the cast iron dragonfly. My kitchen is grey and beige, so needed a spark of color. I’m not a fan of turquoise / aqua / teal, although the color of the second clock puts me in mind of robin’s egg blue, I’m sure I’ll think of something to do with the pale turquoise one. Maybe I’ll paint it. A cream color, perhaps. I don’t know yet, but I’m sure I’ll come up with something. It would be better if they were sold separately. Anyhow, I like the clocks very much. They were individually packed and well cushioned. They arrived safely. In the description it says they’re made of “iron,” but I would call it steel. They have a nice weight and heft to them, and feel sturdy. It appears the cover over each face is glass, and I prefer clocks that have a cover over the face. I also like that the numbers are large and easy to read. I can even see it from across the room without my glasses! A definite bonus. They both make a very faint “tick” sound. Overall, I’m pleased with the clocks, especially the red one, and I’m sure I’ll come up with a plan for the turquoise one. I don’t have a problem recommending them to others. Again, I think they should be sold separately.
