Q: What color is the liquid supposed to be? I have ordered this product before and it was always clear. Today my order showed up and the liquid is white. No seal on the bottle.

Unfortunately I broke out in skin rashes all over my body at my sister’s house because this dish soap contains methylisothiazolinone and benzisothiazolinone. (These chemicals become air borne and can cause rashes from breathing them). I am very grateful Seventh Generation discloses their ingredients so I knew the cause.

This is THE BEST dish detergent. Not only does it smell great - it’s gentle on the hands and it cleans dishes so well. I love buying it in bulk since it’s the only soap I use. I like that it’s an environment safe detergent since it’s biodegradable.

I have been using 7th generation free and clear dish soap for years. Sometime in the past couple of years it has been watered down, used to be thick and a few drops were enough. Now I’m constantly going through throw away plastic bottles. More recently the formula must have changed because now it has an odd odor. Decided to switch to another brand and it doesn’t have the weird smell. Too bad, I was a loyal customer for years
