This is an elegant velvet pumpkin pillow with some weight to it. I had to visit 5 stores to find one cream and 2 black ones without issues. Some had permanent scratches in the velvet from being smooshed/over-stocked on the shelf rubbing against the sharp metal shelf walls/barriers instead of being displayed flat side to side as a couple stores had done. Most had poorly constructed stems: the rope was glued sloppy & uneven with excess glue in multiple areas including on the top fabric portion of the stem. The uneven rope glueing distorted the stem shapes, making then look cheaply/sloppily made, not reflective of a pillow at this price point. In total I looked at over 30-40 of each color between 5 stores. I noticed the same on the red ones too. At this price point the stems should be consistently constructed nice and clean and if they were these would look like they were from a high end home store. I also noticed there were 2 shades of cream stocked at one store: one with more of a yellow tint to it, mine is more white cream.
