[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster for the purpose of my review, but opinions are completely my own. This Sharper Image Toy RC Baja Street Racer is easy enough for anyone to drive so long as there is plenty of room to maneuver. But it is also advanced enough for those who like to experiment with precision and stunting. I personally never could get a good grasp of the controls. Remote has two joysticks, one for moving forwards and backwards and one for turning left and right. Remote also has two control buttons, one to control lights and one to give the car boosted power. I like the car itself includes a height-adjustable wheelie bar used for wheelies, 360-degree spins, and other high-speed stunts. The LED headlights are a fun addition that gives the racer an attractive look while also making the car more visible in low light conditions. Works great on solid surfaces but with the oversize tires it is able to travel fairly easy over grasses, dirt, and other ground covers. Car is well designed and durable for all the crashes and things you will eventually smash into. I do wish that it did not require the whopping 9 AAA, which are not included with purchase. Car battery compartment also requires a tiny eyeglass screwdriver to open. But overall, it is a good solid remote control car with a powerful motor for endless hours of fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My seventeen year old and my ten year old both tested this product. Both say it's for smaller kids. It's fast, but the batteries don't last long. It's takes 9 AAA batteries! As far as a remote controlled car, it's pretty okay.

My 41 year old husband, 16 year old stepson, and 7 year old son all have had their turns playing with it, and they enjoy it! The colors are really nice. It lasts pretty long on batteries. I would purchase this again.

It’s easy to set up, but does require quite a bit of batteries for both the car and the remote control. Once this thing gets started, it is FAST! It also has working headlights, so you can play in the nighttime. The whole family had fun testing this out in the house and we can’t wait to take it outside and play with it more. The price is very affordable too. I recommend giving this a try. It would definitely make a nice gift for an older child.

My boys are having a blast learning the controls and building ramps to jump with their new Baja Street Racer car. The controls work pretty well and have been pretty simple to adjust to, even for an 11 and 5 year old! I think everyone could have a good time with this cool car. It goes really fast and can make some awesome spins. It's also built really well and can take some hard crashes! And, that's perfect for my kids. They love to race and wreck it or see how far it can jump. The battery life seems to be pretty good for a toy like this. Not only is it sturdy and well made but it looks really cool too. The lights on the car and remote work very well and are pretty bright. The boys think the Baja Street Racer is really rad and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good priced toy that's built to last a little longer, like this one.

Works so well, perfect size for my 5 year old to play with it, and lasts forever!! It was also super easy to put the batteries in it and play! Highly recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child is obsessed with this toy. He played with it for an hour and really enjoyed it. We discovered which terrains were best suited for this toy. It didn’t like our dry grass! Was able to drive through some areas with bumps and tan bark. Smooth cement is the best choice for all this toys stunts it can do. It took my child some time to get used to the gear but when he figured it out it worked great. Love the working lights and how light weight and quiet it drives! This is a great starter rc toy car.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my 4 year old nephew try out this race car and he absolutely loved it! He did get a little tripped up with the controls since the two joysticks are different in that one joystick controls the wheels on one side and one joystick controls the other instead of one controlling forward and back. Other than that, he loved the speed of the car and the fact he could use it on the grass without sitting easily stuck like some other ones he’s had in the past
