Q: Do they work on carpeted floor ?

A: probably depends on how thick your carpet is. we have a pretty flat carpet and it works fine, but we can't get it to drive on the couch, too variable/squishy of a surface i think.

It was great when it worked. One car stopped reacting to remote in a month after we gave it as a Christmas present to our kid. Now we have one sad car and thinking if we want to buy one more set so that when one car stops working in a month we will at least have two left working.

My son received these for Christmas. Aside from the controllers being a bit akward, these were initially quite fun to play. But after only an hour's worth of play, one car would no longer turn properly and the other car wouldn't go full speed. I contacted their customer care and submitted a proper warranty claim but, even after multiple requests, still haven't sent a replacement. Save your money. These are incredibly cheap.

These were great and so much fun, until we went to use them again the same day and the white car stopped working. The white remote then started controlling the black car. This is incredibly disappointing and I will be returning these.

I bought these for my daughter and husband for Christmas. It’s only been 4 days but it has been the most played with toy of Christmas. They function great. They light up, change colors and respond well to the remote control. One of the wheels is a little off so that car doesn’t always turn like it should. I’d knock a star off for that but they love them so much that I can’t justify rating it any lower.

They’ve been dropped, thrown, and chewed up more times than I can count and keep cruising. The remote controls are super simple as well. The only downside is they only turn when going in reverse by design so there’s only two buttons your kids need to learn, forward and backwards

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sharper Image Motor Battles! racers is a unique multiplayer twist to remote control cars. The goal is to eliminate the other player by hitting them 3 times on the side or rear of their remote control vehicle. The controls are easy to understand however take some practice and coordination to get a hang of them where there is one joy stick to move forwards and in reverse, and the other joy stick turns the wheels left and right. Once you get use to the controls they are fun to drive. You need to make sure you have plenty of space to play with them, as they don’t turn as sharp as you would hope. I received these toy RC motor battles for free from Influenster and sharper image in exchange for my honest review
