Q: I love this product but the bottle definitely needs to be changed . This is more of a body cream not a lotion and should be put in a container that allows the body cream to be easily accessable ?!

Q: I see that this product has been out for awhile and the consistency of the lotion still is very thick and impossible to pump through the tube. This is more of a body cream not a lotion please change !

I have been using this lotion for years. I ordered a new bottle and I find out that the ingredients have changed! The new ingredients are harmful and not clean. Shea moisture has always been trusted in my home but very sad to say that we will no longer be using this. Please shea moisture, change it back to the old formula!

I have loved this lotion and it has been my “go to” for quite some time. I loved the scent and effectiveness, but most especially, it had an excellent rating on an app that tells me if my skin care products are free from harmful additives. I was so sad to see the new formula and that it now gets a poor rating from my app. It’s so hard to find “cleaner” lotions so I was quite disappointed that I now have to be on the hunt for something new. Please bring back the old formula!!!

Shame on this company for changing a perfect lotion recipe. I have the YUKA app and recently went to the store to refill on the 100% coconut oil Daily Hydration Body Lotion. The rating on the app dropped significantly due to this company deciding to include phenoxyenthanol (a potentional endocrine disrupter and irritant) into its ingredients. It was fine beforehand. No need for this change. I will not use this brand again. Very disappointing decision.

The only lotion I can use on my super sensitive skin. The only thing that sucks is the pump. I scoop it out and put it in a glass container. Otherwise I will be buying again.

I love the smell and the lotion, but it is impossible to squeeze out of the bottle. I cut my in half and put it in a Pyrex. The formulation or the packaging need to change.

Works good , scent is good. I bought 2 and it doesn’t come out. I placed them upside down in a jar hoping to get it out! No luck , finally had to use a knife to cut the bottom off and scrape it out! Too much bother, I wish you’d fix it, and possibly send a coupon for 23. Dollars.

The original formula was the best! All we asked for y’all to change was the pump!!! NOT THE FORMULA!!! It’s greasy now and does not absorb as well. I had been using the original formula for years! I guess shea moisture is no longer my go to! ✌🏼

The old formula was perfect, it felt great and had a light fragrance with Ingredients that . This new formulas has additional ingredients that’s lowered the quality and made it greasy. I also notice the cruelty free sign is no longer present. Please continue to sell the old formula.

lotion is way too thick, it wouldn't come out of the pump and it was just super annoying. also the feeling of the lotion on my skin was so bad it wouldn't mix in and left my skin sticky and uncomfortable. I will literally never buy this lotion ever again

Not only is the new formula too greasy, but it made me break out. Very disappointed, as finding a quality lotion is hard for me. The old formula was great; it just needed a wide container with a lid, not a bottle with a pump.

I would definitely say that it's better suited for overnight use. It is quite thick and applies best on slightly damp skin. I'm not too crazy about the scent, but it's not a deal breaker.

I really wanted to like it but it's not for me sadly. It's very thick and the pump is so small for it. It does smell good but just leaves a waxy feeling on top of skin. It doesn't feel like it's being absorbed into my skin, it just feels like it's just sitting on top of the skin. It made my jeans feel so uncomfortable and like it was sticking to me. I even waited a little bit after applying the lotion to put on my jeans.

Lotion is extremely thick and won’t come out of the pump. You need to use a different container or squeeze it out. It does not absorb well into my skin, leaves a residue, and I don’t find it very hydrating. I will not be repurchasing.

So thick it’s impossible to pump out or get out. But thick doesn’t mean good. It doesn’t soak in well. Heavily perfumed. But not a coconut scent like you’d expect, just an old fashioned perfume smell. I’ll be returning it.
