The scent is light and organic. I love the new larger more luxurious look! Leaves skin lightly moisturized. I recommend still following with a SheaMoisture skin moisturizer .

It came well packaged and A little goes a long way.

I noticed that it has little small beads in it, but it’s not aggressive with exfoliation. The scent is light, clean and a little sweet. I do see myself purchasing this and I would love to see if they have a lotion to match the body wash.

It lathers up nicely, and I don’t need reapply during showering. Me and my boyfriend had used it, and we feel clean afterwards. We haven’t used it long enough to see if it has any effects on his back acne.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a beautifully packaged product from Shea Moisture! The packaging alone is beautiful, wow! So this is a brown colored body wash that smells exactly like African black soap! It brought me back so many memories when I use to buy black soap on the street in Harlem NY. It lathers wonderfully and you don’t need a lot of product to get a good lather going. I have sensitive skin with eczema, so I was excited that this is for calming skin. I had an eczema flare when I used this that was itchy and painful. This honestly has been helping my eczema so much and it’s not painful or itchy as it was before! I’ve been using it for about 5 days now and so far so good. The only thing I don’t like is brown stuff that gets left behind in the tub from using this. Other than that, it’s a perfect and effective product. Will buy.

The scent is still original so that's always a plus. I can appreciate that the company didn't deviate from the original formula. My only regret is not taking before and after pictures
