submitted bySheaMoisture - 4 years agoBrand expertA: Curls, yes...if your hair is straight consider how much oil your hair shaft hold over the day. More oil plus this pomade can be over-hydrating. If you hair is porous, this can work to hydrated and hold. If your hair is fine [narrow-shaft] and you have thin hair [fewer hairs per square inch] this product will weigh the hair down and give a flattened, close to scalp look. Oily straight hair is better with a hairspray/mousse combo, a low hold mousse to style, then spray to hold the style [or a hair dilating low hold spray to style and a holding spray.

I suggest looking at the product in store so you can see the consistency and texture. My previous curl cream I could apply and just rinse off my fingers. With this, I have to use soap because it’s very oily. However, my curls last all work day with just a slight shine. The product smells great.

First of all I don't have waves as a hairstyle but instead I have very straight thick hair. I've been paying more attention to ingredients in personal care products and this is the best hair styling product for men that I have found so far. The smell is great and the texture it gives your hair is fantastic. Doesn't provide a shine but more of a natural hairstyle like you got out of bed that way. The size of it is perfect. I have had mine for probably over a year and still have only used maybe a quarter of it. You don't need to use a lot since it is oil based.

This product seems great, smells good, has a good consistency and strong hold, but the only draw back for me is it made my head itch like crazy. I must be allergic to something in it. Otherwise I think it is a good product, I just can't use it.

I got this product for my guy and you could see the difference in his hair right away. His hair was dull and getting dried out, and this waves pomade helps moisturize and helps form natural waves/curl pattern. I like it because it adds shine/vibrance to the hair without making it too oily. I would definitely recommended!

I like how this goes on smooth, has a good smell, and keeps my waves laid down. The only thing I don’t like, it leaves your hands pretty greasy and takes a bit to wash off.

My boyfriend adores this product when he gets a fresh haircut he uses his shea butter moisture men's waves Pomade with the argon oil and shea butter and baby his waves are on swim it is absolutely amazing it smells so good he just applies with his palm and brushes it in with a wave brush and it is actually amazing will be purchasing this again using one irregular inconsistent basis love the smell
