Men's Styling Hair Pomade - 4oz - Goodfellow & Co™

Wish I could give this zero stars. The closest I can describe the consistency is car wax. Completely impossible to spread between hands let alone in hair—yet I still gave it a try. Left clumps in my hair and looking greasy. Just awful.

This new reformulation is AMAZING !! It used to have a little too much sheen in the past but now, it's a beautiful natural matte finish. It gives a beautiful texture, lift, volume, thickness, and it is very lightweight. The hold is more of a firm hold than medium ( which is awesome ). Smells nice and fresh. Light scent, nothing overpowering. The washout is a breeze. This cocktails super well with the texturizing fiber (which is more of a texture Clay).

It was really good. Then it changed and it was not good. Then they changed it again, and it’s “ok”. Target needs to stop hosing with a good thing.

I wish it was easier to pick up items I ordered for pick up at the counter. What exactly are all those Target associates running around doing.

Agree with the other reviews that it clumps together and forms white specks in your hair.

It is a bit dry and clumpy as others say, also it smells good at first but after about a month it gets this weird chemical smell to it that kinda sucks. Disappointed because apparently this used to be a good product.

This used to be my bf's favorite hairgel, something has changed and now it's really dry and very clumpy

Very think and grainy texture, makes it look like dandruff. Scent is overly strong and it holds like cement. Absolutely awful.

they need to bring back the old product

Use on my toddler hair and really like it for shaping. Affordable and will last me a lonngggg time.

It smells good. It’s very thick but it does not lay on smoothly on my husband’s beard. I’d completely clumped in his beard & it’s brand new.

My husband loves this stuff! Not only does it smell really good but it works great in his hair.

My wife and I used to love the Goodfellow Blue Sage and Tonka Finishing Pomade. They stopped making it for some reason. I tried the Moroccan Mint & Cedar a while back and it was functionally the same (amazing), but with a less desirable but fine fragrance. It was hard to find it for a while and I had to get it from 3rd party sellers on amazon. I was so excited to see Target was carrying it again and it seemed like a bonus that it was almost half the price! WOMP WOMP, disappointment...the texture/consistency is terrible now... it's like grainy and clumps in your hands and hair and is not smooth/sleek like it used to be. Side-by-side comparing it to my previous last remaining Moroccan Mint & Cedar it has almost no fragrance now as well. The lack of fragrance would be fine with me, but it futher pointed out to me that they're making this entirely differently now. It seems deceptive that it has the exact same label as before while seeming like an entirely different and lesser product. Will have to find a new hair product now, lame.

Smells amazing and keeps my hair shiny and in place

This product is pretty hard to work with and is something that really likes to tug on your hair as you desperately try to work it in without pulling out all your hair at the same time.

Leaves your hair really dry and the hold is not too strong. Not the easiest to wash out. If you use this use some argon oil for the dryness. If your hair is longer than 1 inch do not use

Love Goodfellow products, but this is too heavy/firm for me. It’s labeled Medium hold, but too heavyweight for me personally.

Bought this for my hubby a year ago & it’s still his go to pomade. He says it’s not too greasy compared to other ones. Also the smell is really good, fresh & manly. Will keep buying when he runs out.

This product is great. It's got a medium hold that has a subtle scent. It doesn't leave my hair feeling crusty and dry, and the product even has some organic healthy ingredients in it. All of that plus the performance at a fraction of the cost, it's a great product. Beware though, it's NOT a pomade. It's more of a paste.

Really has a nice medium/medium-firm hold, smooth application, easy washout. Great high quality ingredients, very nice and subtle scent. This competes with some of the top homebrewed companies. It has similar ingredients, similar quality, and similar performance at a fraction of the cost. Really good product. The texture clay (called fiber for whatever reason) is also, a top notch clay. Super nice, with a matte finish and strong hold and same great scent.
