Shelled Walnuts - 32oz - Good & Gather™

These Target (Good and Gather) brand walnuts have not been consistent. The bag (32 Oz) I just opened tonight is like other bags in the past--too much crumbled up powder all over the walnut pieces, and a lot at the bottom of the bag. This bag has too many dark spots on the nut pieces as well. I had several bags where I thought this problem had gotten corrected, but this bag is the same way again. Very disappointing. The powdered substance is pulverized walnuts, but imo--an excessive amount of it.. Also you cannot read the expiration date on the back of either bag I have here at my house right now, as the date is partially rubbed off on both. You can read the 2025 part, but not the month. Target needs to talk with the supplier of these walnuts. Before Diamond Brand (my SuperTarget discontinued the Diamond brand in favor of Good and Gather Brand) Walnuts never had this excessive powdery issue ever, or walnut pieces that look like there is rotten parts on some pieces.

The value is great, but we got two packages and both had a ton of walnut "dust" in it (walnut "flour") and about 1/4 of the pieces were dark and mushy.

This is a nice sized (and resealable) bag! There are very tasty to snack on them and bake with. Also, I love that there shelled and fresh tasting. I have zero complaints and would easily recommend them for both snacking on and baking with. The larger size is also perfect to use this holiday season.

These walnuts are probably some of the best I have ever used. They are not broken into tiny pieces, they are large and substantial. Definitely worth the price! They also taste very fresh. Highly recommend these!

I love walnuts and just snacking on them and adding them to my salads, etc. This is a good size bag that will last a while. With the holidays right around the corner this is perfect for your side dishes or just putting out in a dish for snacking.

I received this product for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review. These Good & Gather walnuts had a great taste and were not oily or bitter at all. A good portion of the bag was actually complete halves and not just a bunch of random little pieces. I haven’t had the opportunity to use them in my baking yet but my picky 9 year old has been eating them every morning for breakfast and he enjoys them very much. I will definitely be purchasing these again for every day use when this bag runs out.

These Good & Gather shelled walnuts are crunchy and fresh tasting. They have a nice rich nutty flavor, and are great for snacking. I like that they contain a variety of nutrients that are beneficial to your health. I love using these walnuts in a whole host of sweet and savory dishes. The resealable bag is easy to open and close, and keeps the walnuts fresh.

I love the taste of these walnuts. I used them in a brownie recipe and they came out great. The bag is big so i am going to use them in different recipes to add to the flavor. I also liked the size of the walnuts. There was hardly any small pieces.

I do a lot of baking throughout fall and winter so I try to buy larger size products to be more economical. I’m already a huge fan but f the good and gather products and the walnuts were no exception. They toast up well or taste great in a salad or a cookie. Big fan!

These shelled walnuts are so fine and delicious for baking and snacking as well. They taste so fresh. Nothing artificial in these walnuts! They make a good snack for after school, in a snack bag for school and work or just anytime to enjoy a tasty and healthy snack.

Loved the freshness and taste of these walnuts. I used them to bake a cranberry nut bread. Walnuts were coarsely chopped and cut nice with little breakage. Cooked up well and held their crunch while softening enough to not over power the bread.

I love walnuts and have been eating them for a vegetarian source of protein and fat. Its hard to find a large enough quantity at a good price. This product fits the bill. Love the large bag and love the product.
