The cup is solid, durable, and fits into the pouch in the compression shorts well. However, I ran into some slight fit issues as I may have claimed the incorrect size. The waistband fits perfectly but the leg openings are quite loose. That being said, the shorts are still very comfortable and hold everything in place. Still, I’d definitely recommend Shock Doctor as opposed to other options on the market.

The sizing of the compression shorts runs tight, but that is to be expected with a medium size range of 30-34. I am a 34 waste and thought it was tight. However, the cup stays in place nicely and is effective, which is the goal. Taking a hit to the cup should not be devastating. I plan on wearing these when I play paintball.

I usually wear a Large in clothing so I got a medium so they would be tight. These compression shorts were not very true to size and not tight a all the only place it was tight was around bum everywhere else was loose. The cup fit nicely it also is a great protection when I play sports. I would recommend this product just need a smaller size.

I’m able to wear the shorts for extended periods of time without any issues. I have also been quite impressed by how well these shorts are designed to protect me during sports. I play football and am constantly exposed to dangerous falls and kicks. With the included cup, however, my lower extremities have been able to stay extremely protected. I have not experienced any pain in the groin area after experiencing falls or kicks after using the included cup. The cup is also well-constructed. It is made of super heavy-duty plastic. I also appreciate how well the cup fits into the shorts. It seems to be very snug and does not move around. I have also been quite impressed by how well the shorts breathe. I have noticed that I haven’t been as sweaty while using these shorts compared to my experiences prior to trying this product. Finally, I’ve really liked how well these shorts conform to my body shape. This allows me to stay active without having to worry about my clothing causing resistance. There honestly isn’t anything I dislike about these compression shorts! If you’ve been looking for a safe solution to keep you protected yet comfortable while you play your favorite sport, I would highly recommend these shorts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shock Doctor compression shorts are nice feeling but when you put them on things start to go downhill. The cup is good and roomy, fits well. But the shorts have a very tight waist and almost baggy legs. There is no compression on the legs at all. My regualr, daily boxer briefs are tighter than these.
