Signature Hardside Trunk Carry On Spinner Suitcase - Open Story™

Would recommend people do more research why trunk style closure before dissing it...after all, it is explicitly the style for this set. People can tamper with zipper closure more easily compared to the trunk style complete sealed sides. I'd admit I have some hesitation giving up the expandability provided by zipper closure luggages, but I also came to realize i overpack and can reduce what I bring. The corners surprisingly withstood being lugged through four cities with three check-ins. Though it did not hold up against some scratches as well as I hoped. I think it is a reasonably stylish set given its price point and features.

This luggage is durable. I’ve had to travel every other week for the last couple of months and I picked this up to save room in my trunk. I do like that. It has a zipped in pocket for clothes and the other side is a buckle with a spacer in between. It is heavier so I can see this being a problem for people who are flying. The other issue I have is I cannot lock the luggage without pressing down. Even when I empty the luggage bag and go to shut it to put it away it’s a struggle to actually close. I wish they would’ve done a zipper instead of 2 locks. This could just be me, but I didn’t see any instructions on how to reset the lock code. For the cost of this, I would not buy it.

Receive it without the box is damaged

Can somebody PLEASE HELP me RESET the CODE?!?! It says on d outside of d luggage that the instructions is inside but it’s not. I saw a comment that it’s on the outside hang tag but it’s on the tag that I purchased. I’m on my wits end! Im so afraid I’m gonna lock myself out of my belongings while on a trip 😭 SOS

If only this was the same dimensions as my older champagne colored Open Story spinner it would have been a keeper! My old spinner has been my ride or die on so many international flights and never failed to fit everything I want to stuff into it and still fit in the overhead bin. This trunk version is taller (the wheels sit higher) and heavier, but has less interior space. It is only .75 inches less deep, but it’s enough that my personal item doesn’t sit nicely on top and the wheel base doesn’t feel as sturdy as my other OS spinner. The blue color is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for and it is just so sleek! I love the compression pad and the trunk closures make it such a breeze to open and close. But in the end, as a carryon only queen, I can’t sacrifice the space I’m accustomed too or the sturdy wheel base. If you are a checked bag too kind of person or can pack a whole lot less than me, then you’ll probably love it.

This is a nice, sleek suitcase, and my first hard cover carry-on. I haven't had a chance to test it out yet (when is Target giving away vacations? Ha), but it seems fairly sturdy and has quite a bit of storage space. I especially appreciate the interior zippered compartment and the removable laptop bag (at least that's what I think it is). The wheels seem like good quality and same with all of the handles. The only thing that I can't see myself using is the locking function, especially for a carry-on, but who knows, maybe it'll come in handy.

This carry-on luggage is exactly perfect for flying. It has very hard durable sides, making it easy to travel with. I felt like the adjustable handle came up a little higher than most, which is perfect. It has a combination lock on the side to keep it closed. The only thing I have a problem with is that I didn't see a set of keys for the lock, and there are no instructions on how to set the numbers for the lock.

This hard side spinner carry-on is a great addition to my travel products. It’s made of durable material and has a sleek design. The outer shell does a good job of protecting my belongings and the spinner wheels help with smooth navigation, and the handle is sturdy. The interior is nicely designed and one side is a zippered compartment which keeps everything in place. The zippered flap has additional space to hold smaller items. The carry-on does not have an exterior zipper and instead opens and closes like a briefcase which is pretty cool. It even has a built in three digit combination lock for an extra layer of security. It’s a little heavier than I expected but it’s a very good quality luggage.

Amazing suitcase. Well made. Has a separate compartment for your laptop. Has two locks that secure it closed. Feels sturdy. Multiple compartments which made it easy to keep everything organized. Love it!

Super reliable, stylish, lightweight and very functional luggage. I got this for a trip, and it performed better than any suitcases I have ever had. It wheels nice and looks so pretty. The inside is practical and has lots of room. Build well and will last a lifetime.

This trunk style carry on is the perfect size for a quick trip. The best feature is the two quick latch closures with can have separate combinations to close the suitcase. It’s so much easier then zipping my bag open and close. The only downside with it being a trunk style is that it doesn’t expand like zipper luggage allows.

Great little carry on hard side bag. Love all of the pockets inside and the compression system. Lightweight and seems very sturdy. Seems like it holds a lot and will fit in the overhead of any airline without issue. Was able to change the lock code without any issue. Would prefer not to check bags when I can so this should do the trick!

This suitcase is a great carry on and easy to use. It rolls extra easily and even has a locking mechanism for added security if needed. It is compact and still big enough for a weekend or even a weeklong get away.

Wow- this couldn’t have arrived at a more perfect time. Packing up for a vacation and this spinner is super high quality! It’s built to last, yet surprisingly lightweight. The wheels glide smoothly, and the handle opens and closes easily. The TSA lock closures are secure- love the unique buckle design. And the inside is a dream- with well organized storage areas. This would be the perfect gift for anyone on your list!

It has a handle that extends two different heights and has spinner wheels so it doesn’t catch on everything as you’re pulling it. The outside of the suitcase is a hard plastic and seems pretty durable. It’s very lightweight. This suitcase is different than most because it doesn’t have zippers to close it. There are two combination locks built into the case. It’s nice because you don’t have to worry about bringing your own locks if you want your items to be secure in a hotel room. I would recommend this suitcase for light traveling. I received an incentive to write this review.

I was hoping the the trunk details would stand out more but they don’t because they are the same color as the rest of the suitcase. Also the wheels don’t look very durable as they are thin.
