I tried to Cook it in several different ways but it seemed to change the flavor of the mix. Sometimes it tasted dry the second time I couldn't taste the Cocoa. Not sure why? I'll try your product again. Sincerely Mike Hair.

I think besides a breakfast, this also could be defined as a dessert! It was pleasantly surprising the first time I tried them. It is my new pancake and waffle mix.

These cocoa pancakes are similar to the original Simple Mills pancakes, except, obviously, more chocolatey. These are very tasty! The cocoa flavor is mild-- one might argue a little too mild, but I have my own cocoa powder. I'd rather add a little then have to "dilute." Since it's almond flour, these are dense-- perhaps the only downside. They are high in calories, but you can cut the mix with things like oat fiber to lower the heartiness. But, as a pancake, these are a yummy breakfast addition.

Although I don't have celiac disease, I seem to digest these alternative flours better than when eating a wheat flour product. I liked the flavor, but was a bit disappointed in how they cooked up for me. If I could offer some advice, if you want fluffy pancakes then make your batter on the thicker side. I followed the directions on the box and felt like the mix was too runny, making really flat pancakes. The taste was still delicious, even though they came out flat. I ate them with raspberry jam and it was just the right amount of chocolate flavor.
