A: Thank you for your inquiry. This model is designed to work only with liquid soap and does not have the mechanism required to dispense foaming soap. Unfortunately, it will not work with foaming soap.

It cannot be opened. It’s as if the cover were glued down. I’ve have to decide whether it’s worth returning or just trash it. Too bad because I’ve had two of these before—bathroom snd kitchen—and found them just right for my purposes.

The actual pump itself is quite large- it's hard to tell that from the images online. It looks like a penguins beak. Ended up keeping them anyway as they do look nice in our home.

I love Simple Human products, however this one I only gave 1 star because I was not able to open it. It was totally stuck. Customer service even sent me video on how to get it to open which was exactly what I was doing before contacting them. I had to return it because I could not use it since I could not open it.

Wanted something more short & wide as the typical soap dispensers are tall & thin & always fall over. Very cool look & of course simplehuman great quality. It is a little pricey for the least "techy" soap dispenser they carry.

It was defective. Could not turn handle and my husband had to use brute strength to do it. It would probably break in a few weeks, if he had to wrestle it. It has been returned. Never had a problem with my previous ones. AND I wanted chrome and brushed nickel was sent. The photo showed it as chrome.

It is extremely hard to open until you press down on the pump to twist. The pump is plastic and something rattles inside the top part of the pump. Since it'll be sitting on the counter shouldn't be too much of a bother. However for the price I was expecting better quality ( not plastic- on top of glass).
