A: We do not add Formamide to Playspot, although it can be a byproduct of the EVA foam manufacturing process (which includes such items as flip flops and many bath toys). That said, due to these concerns, we have tested Playspot using ISO 16000 methods. We are pleased that our Playspots received the lowest possible score, <2ug/m3 (less than 2 millionths of a gram per cubic meter) for Formamide emissions, the lowest measurable result with this testing method. These tests show that - within the limits of the test - its presence is essentially undetectable. We regularly test children’s and child-care products for lead and phthalates, the principal culprits in PVC. Accordingly, these product hangtags are marked “Phthalate-free.”* We do not use polycarbonate, so BPA is not a concern for us. Therefore, the Playspot is a safe EVA floor mat option for children and you should feel confident that we have specifically tested for this issue.

Q: I see it does say spot or wipe clean. I wanted to know is it waterproof or resistant? If you spill a liquid on it, will it sit on the surface or soak in? Also, how is it with dog hair? Does dog hair stick to it or can you just wipe it off?

A: The Skip Hop Activity Playmat is made of foam. It is not waterproof or water resistant. Debris and light soiling can be wiped or spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Super cushiony so little doesn't hurt himself falling over, and enough grip-em to encourage crawling. Loses a star just because it's a bit of a drag disassembling and reassembling (we don't keep it out all the time so our dog doesn't walk all over it when little isn't home).

I bought this for my 8 month old to help him sit and crawl. He does tend to pull the pieces up , but it works and it looks good in our living room. Only con is it is a bit pricey .

I have another mat that is 1 piece and is an absolute beast to put away when I have guests over but this one is easy to take apart and store as needed. The foam is firm but has some give when you sit on it though I wouldn't say it's comfortable to nap on. As you can see in the pictures, both of my kids (1 and 3) enjoy playing on it - my son even likes to put the foam tiles together as though they were a giant jigsaw puzzle.

They where super easy to assemble, you are able to shape them in different ways and different patterns as you please. If something is spilled on them they are real easy to clean, just a little cleaner and a cloth and they clean right up. They are also very durable they will definitely hold a lot of play time. I will definitely be recommending the PLAYSPOT GEO FOAM FLOOR TILES to all my family and friends.

I knew immediately I wanted nice floor tiles so she knows that area is special for her. These tiles from Skip Hop were exactly what I wanted! I love how soft the tiles are and I can personalize it however I'd like. I can have a soft or textured side of the tile. I can customize it to where it's one solid square or I can separate them to have two different colors. It's truly a great experience and I love that I can style it to my liking. The tiles are so comfy to step on and they're very easy to clean. I especially love how happy the tiles make my child. She loves stepping on them and touching them. I definitely can see why. Other tiles I've felt just have a sticky plastic feeling to them. These are super soft and cushioned. I can't believe how comfortable they are. My daughter loves it! She always smiles and her happiness is everything to me. I absolutely love these floor tiles and completely recommend

I am nervous he will fall and get hurt and these foam tiles ease my worries. I love how you can create your own design. It’s easy to change and create something different. There are end pieces which are not shown in the pictures for a straight edge.

Not only is it super cute, but it literally fits inside the play pen perfectly - like it was made for it! I love that you can customize the pattern to your liking - there are easy to follow steps for each design. I will say, my kids can easily pull the border or end pieces up, but that is not a huge issue. They love it and I love that it gives them a softer area to play on.

We've got a large area rug in your living room that we're fairly comfortable with our daughter playing on, but there's also a big section of tile floor that is uncovered that we're not comfortable with her playing on. These foam tiles fit the space absolutely perfectly and make us feel safe and secure with the expanded play space.
