As a coach, I utilize the Golden Touch ball at the beginning of our sessions, when juggling. When a player transitions from a soccer ball with a normal sized to weight ratio to a golden touch ball, they have to focus more on their first touch as the ball is smaller, and heavier. The golden touch ball definitely challenges the players, and when used properly can improve their understanding and execution of their first touch.

This is a great ball that I use to train my goalkeepers. Its awesome to focus on hand eye coordination but love the fact that its still the same weight as a size 5 ball. My GK's love it and its challenging.

The SKLZ Golden Touch Technique Training Ball is one of the best training balls that I have ever used with youth teams. I utilize them for all technical training with our youth academy teams. The smaller size 3 ball forces players to concentrate on every touch when dribbling, passing and receiving. The extra weight of the ball means that players have to learn to properly strike the ball to get the result needed. They quickly learn to put the proper pace on the ball and to take the pace off the ball when receiving a pass. Every coach needs a bag of these when training their teams.
