SKLZ Hurricane Category 4 Baseball Swing Training System

The problem is the impact head breaks easily and a replacement one always shows out of stock. I’ve been looking for a replacement for a year now.

Is there a SKILZ softball spec head for Hurricane4? The description says softball and baseball trainer , and I'm willing to buy a softball specific end piece, but can't seem to fid one or even information about if there is such a thing

Good sturdy structure and easy to assemble. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 starts is it would be perfect if the ball at the end was white and not the same color as the arm piece.

Used one training my kids. Now going to use for grand kids.

I bought the Hurricane 4 for my 9 year old Grandson. He loves it. He takes tons of swings by himself when his Dad / Coach is not around. It allows him to get a lot of swings in in a short amount of time. It is amazing what 100 swings per day will do for a 9 year old who enjoys doing it. Also provides instant feedback on a good swing / good contact and sets him up for the next swing in a matter of seconds. It is also being used by his traveling team as one of the hitting stations during a practice and also as a way to get 20-25 swings in before a game. Well worth the investment. Easy to set up and take down. Very durable and sturdy. Currently uses only 1 of the bands for resistance but I am guessing 2nd band is not to far into the future.

Great for all level hitters, using for t ball to middle school

My young grandkids love this batting skills machine. They can practice without having to have someone pitch to them.

We have only had it for a few weeks, but it is awesome to help one’s swing! It is easy to setup and fun and easy to use.

We've had it for about a month. It's very easy to put together and take apart. Great teaching took.

My 14 year old got this for Christmas and we were super excited about it but it quickly needed to be replaced after a week or so. The company was awesome and immediately sent an entirely new replacement, however it quickly fell apart as well. My son loves this and I went to order a new replacement arm but they are out of stock. Super disappointing

I bought this product for my son. It has great reviews and appeared to be pretty rugged. I noticed when setting the hit trainer up, that everything was heavy duty And well thought out except for one thing. The plastic on the fasteners are cheap. The trainer showed up with one already broken from shipping and another about to break. I think the engineering let you down on this. Is there a place that I can find replacements! Overall great product that needs a bit of improvement.

We bought this trainer for our ball team and is a great way for kids to get that repeatable level swing. My complaint is the storage bag it comes in. The zipper is shot after only a couple of weeks and now the bag doesn't close properly and so makes transporting it to games difficult. I would have thought for the money, the travel bag would have been sturdier and of better quality.

I bought this and it was just great. Then it sat out in an unheated garage. Next spring the ball broke. Throwing it away as I can't find replacement parts.

I bought this 3 seasons ago (just started season 4). I coach machine pitch, kids range from 5-9 years old. About 8 indoor clinics a year (2 hours of constant use), team practices, and my own kids in the back yard. This is great for working on swing mechanics, and making that jump from T-Ball to the next level. I have had no problem with the ball head, it's still holding up strong as I enter the 4th year of heavy use. I saw one review about the bag - 1 zipper broke the 1st year, the other last year, so I put 2 bungee cords around the bag with the parts inside - about my only complaint. I also read the review about using this more for mechanics than power. When one of our Major League coaches saw me using this, he bought one for the 10-13 year olds. His only lasted 1.5 seasons until the ball/arm broke. I contribute that to the force the pre-teens have versus the smaller kids I coach. One other thing that may have contributed to my unit's longevity, not very often do I use it where the kids hit the ball while the arm is in motion/returning. I am usually focusing on being set and mechanics from a stand-still.

The resistance bands snapped and on the site their is no option to replace these. I have tried other options however it’s not friendly with the device. The product is as good as it lasts.

So happy I got this thing but after two years of using it and hitting it hard it will start to crack!

I have The need for the replacement bands due to the breakage of the other two of the four

I purchased this for my son’s birthday expecting it to be the pinnacle gift. Instead he was deeply disappointed when it turned out the height adjustment collar did not fit over the rotational bar. I can’t tell if it’s the plastic seam on the inside of the collar or the sticky grease that covers the bar. Either way, it didn’t work and he was crushed. Waiting on customer service...

My nephew is in coach pitch and this has helped him, but is there a replacement bag we can buy cause the zipper on the bag has already gave out.
