Q: can you fly the drone outdoors? Will it break more easily then indoors?

A: The Nano has plenty of power for outdoor flying, but due to it's diminutive size it could be easily lost.

A: Hello, Controller Reset: Hold F Trim, B Trim, and Power for 3 - 5 seconds. There is no hard factory reset for the drone.

Great little drone! It's small and quiet, perfect to fly around inside! Also very slow on the main setting, great for getting used to it. Battery life is what you would expect out of drone this size but it doesn't take that long to charge. This drone is not made for outside!! It is very light and the slightest breeze affects it!

This drone broke twice. It will work for a while and then just flies crooked. No matter how many times we try to fix the blades, it still doesn’t work correctly. Not recommended unless you want a disappointed child!

I purchased this drone January 4 and it just stopped working not even two weeks later. It is very cheaply made half the parts fell off, so I can’t even return it very unhappy.

We have purchased 3 of these. 2 being gifts for other kids and one for our 7 year old son. It’s tiny! Our son loves it. He had been asking for a drone. I read reviews and it seemed like it would be a good buy. The only dislike is when our son takes it outside he tends to lose it in the foliage bc it’s so small. But he can push one of the dials on the remote control to make it make noise so he’s always able to locate it. I don’t know how long the charge holds but doesn’t seem like it’s that long. Otherwise, it’s a great gift.

My 9 year old son has been loving this little drone and it's been working well. The only negative thing he has told me so far is that debri from the carpet (like hair) can easily get tangled in the propellers when it lands and takes off again and then he has to take the propeller off to clean it off. Other than that, he loves it!

I purchased three small quadcopters for family members, ranging in age from teenagers to young adults, and one for a 9-year-old. We have flown the drones indoors, in our house, and in a small gym at a community church. The older pilots, including the teenagers, were adept at keeping the copters in the air with minimal accidents. The younger pilots experienced more mishaps, but the drones have remained in good condition and continue to function well. We bought them on sale, which made them an even better value. However, like all remote-controlled toy users, we have lamented the battery life.

Ok. First off, great drone trim controls work fantastic. I am an RC enthusiast have had helos, cars, trucks, planes and rockets. If you smash it into a wall hard enough, no rc will work properly. Most of the reveiws on here are user error. First, set it up and trim it out first before letting your kids mash it into a wall. Also don't let them fly it inside until they learn the controls well enough. The battery life is the only complaint as it seems mine lasts about t minutes and other reveiws mention 10 to 15 minutes. So in summary if you aren't capable don't buy it. RCs are harder than they seem. If it doesn't work out of the box, connecting or similar issues replace it or return it.

I give three stars because it does work and I see potential for it to be fun in an open area. It seems to be durable, too, as it's crashed A LOT and not broken yet. It's just too fast to control in my limited space. I wouldn't dare take it outdoors - too easy to lose over a fence or in bushes. Out of the box it doesn't hover. It flies off to one side as soon as it's launched and crashes into a wall or furniture before the trim can be set. I spent an entire battery charge trying to set it and almost lost it a couple of times behind a cabinet. If one manages to get the trim set (I did once) it has to be reset again any time the drone is turned off and back on.
