We’ve only had it for a day but believe me when I tell you we have purchased basically every drone that exists for our three year old (he is obsessed). This one is the easiest by far, he can even do tricks on it. It doesn’t just run into walls. It doesn’t fly insanely fast. It has fun light features and sounds that you change on this little watch remote (that is also how you control the drone). It is cheap and will definitely break, but we’ve never had one last more than a couple weeks anyway so that’s about on par for a drone in this price range. Def recommend!

DUDES! This garbage caused immediate injury and emotional trauma for my 5 year old daughter. The “obstacle avoidance” feature was completely non functioning. It flew directly into the side of my daughter’s face, sucking multiple large portions of her hair into the rapidly spinning fan blades. Instead of turning off when experiencing resistance, the blades continued to spin, causing more hair to be sucked in until we could turn it off. MEANWHILE, the plastic cage around the blades is so flimsy that it collapsed against her skin as soon as tension from the hair was placed on it, resulting in actual bleeding slashes and welts across her cheeks. The thing basically became a whirring mechanical leech, suctioned to her face. After cutting the cage in multiple places to try to free her hair, the hair itself is so destroyed/ripped/dreaded, that we are going to have to cut a majority of her hair off lest she look like Weird Barbie with chunks missing up near her scalp. Kids get hurt all the time. But it shouldn’t be by 30 dollar toys specifically marketed as having obstacle avoidance safety features that end in being mechanically mauled. Do better. Take it off the shelves.

Doesn’t hold a good charge then broke all within 12 hrs of getting it. Save your money, $30 is a lot to spend on a toy for 20 minutes of enjoyment. Plus the tears from your child when he discovers how cheap and broken it is is not what I signed up for.

Even after fully charging the battery on both the drone and the controller it won't maintain flight. Recalibrating per the instructions had no effect. The drone bounces on the ground for 10 seconds before turning off.

Terrible toy. It crashes constantly but the real problem is that it crashes into people. It got into my hair and tangled so badly in less than ten seconds. For something that is supposed to sense the perimeter to avoid crashes, it does a terrible job. My son is in tears because he thinks it's his fault that my scalp is in pain and my hair had to be cut to free it. It's not his fault. It's the designer of this awful product. Do not buy it if you want to avoid pain and tears.

As fun as this is when it works, do not buy!!! It broke in less than a month. In that time it was used only 4 or 5 times. I expect something that cost $30 to last more than 5 uses! My 4 year old son was devastated, as he got it for his dad as a birthday gift and they enjoyed flying it together, and I am angry because it wasn’t cheap. Stuff from the dollar spot lasts longer than this! We loved it until it broke, but, nope. Do not recommend. Allocate your money elsewhere. The actual drone itself was fine, but the remote control/watch thing that makes it fly simply stopped working. It is absolute garbage quality. Never imagined it would break so obviously didn’t keep the box to return it, which is so frustrating because this kind of rapid failure of a product absolutely warrants a full refund.

While the concept is great and it’s fun to use, it only lasts 5-7 mins requiring multiple times to charge in between which leaves kids frustrated and wanting to be able to play more. Definitely not worth the money

They are a little too old for it, but still, for teenagers, they had a blast with it and were fighting over the watch controller. The drone flies really smoothly, easily switches direction, doing flip & tricks in the air. My kids had no complaints. The drone is real good at detecting it's surroundings as well, it nicely glides away from people and walls. I on the other hand, have one complaint. My kids flew it at me, and without remembering it has an obstacle avoidance detector, I hit it with my fingers. I guess my fingers are small enough to fit into the metal "cage" guarding the blades. Oh boy, did that sting and hurt like crazy for a few, I have a high pain tolerance, too. I couldn't imagine how badly that would hurt for a 6 year old. So, I think the metal "cage" covering the blade needs to be configured differently. Otherwise, this drone is a blast, and I would highly recommend it! Thank you!

Just when I was about to give up on it, then it started working. It was pretty cool, though the kids got bored of it pretty quickly. The little stunts it does are fun.

It comes with a wrist controller, that turns it on/off and tells it to do flips. The drone has multi sensors and is directed using your hands. So a hands free controller is a must! I love the little alien and lights that are a part of it. Comes ready to use straight from the box. Easy to use, listed as ages 6+

My son loved this for the 4 hours he was able to play with it. First it had to be charged every few minutes which didn’t bother him but it shouldn’t have to be charged that much. Then the propellers fell off and we couldn’t locate all of them so now it won’t fly. I contacted customer service to purchase extra propellers and was told that they don’t have them separate and would send me a new one. Then asked for a receipt which I already stated I didn’t have. Then they said they can’t help because I don’t have a receipt. So if this is a gift you’re out of luck! For $20 I expected it to last more than a few hours before breaking. So if you do buy this save your receipt so when it breaks you can have it covered under the warranty. Very disappointed in the quality and customer service.
