Description
The Auto-Retractable Squeeze-Trigger Utility Knife by Slice combines safety and convenience with a quick-to-deploy blade that retracts when it’s not in use. A favorite of industrial workers, the squeeze trigger is easy to use with gloves: no slider or button to hold and the installed lanyard hole keeps it handy. Safety managers love the automatic retraction and locking feature that ensure the blade is never exposed accidentally. The 10563 comes with a rounded-tip blade sporting Slice’s proprietary finger-friendly edge. It cuts effectively and is safe to the touch. As with all Slice blades, the installed 10526 blade is non-conductive, non-magnetic, and never rusts. Compatible with the 10528 pointed-tip blade.

the palm trigger grip is a lot more comfortable to use for extended periods. Recently bought a few for our warehouse crew as an experiment and I will be ordering more per their request.

Working at a retail establishment, I open a lot of boxes, and always have a box cutter on my belt. So do all the associates who work for me. And since nobody's born with a box cutter in their hands, I often provide from my personal supply to them all. And then other co-workers snatch them when my team leaves them around. As such, my personal supply was down to just my last one. And it's seen better days. So when an associate forgot her box cutter at home one day, I gave her my last and started looking for a replacement. And having seen a smaller Slice product on my shelves in stationary, I was intrigued, so I decided to look deeper and try out one of these. Let me say, I'm very happy with it. I've been using it every day and It's still as sharp as day one. The concept of a ceramic blade has always made me wonder "Really?" I mean, Sharp Things made of Metal have been part of human history from as long as we've looked at a thing and said "I need to open that thing that doesn't want to open." But yes. Ceramic Blades, Really. They do everything that a metal blade does. For anyone on the fence, just go for it. It does whatever you need a box cutter to do, and it's got a cool factor that other box cutters don't.

Huge fan of this Auto-Retractable Squeeze Trigger Utility Knife. I was a bit skeptical because the tip is rounded and I did not think our employees would be able to cut through the thick bags of materials. Also, I can bounce it on my hand and not get cut. Our Employees love them, they cut beautifully and are ergonomically friendly as well. They last forever, great product.
