Q: Is this cup hot to the touch when heated, and how hot can contents of cup be?
A: Hi Victoria - Great question. Depending on your microwave or method of heating, the mug may be hot to the touch, but the handle in general should be cooler than the body. We advise using the handle but be careful especially after microwaving the item to make sure it’s comfortable to touch. There isn’t really a limit on how hot the contents of the cup can be functionally and this depends on personal preference. I hope this help! - Maria
submitted byMaria - 2 years agoTarget staff supportA: I have poured boiling water into the mug to steep tea and the handle stays cool and easily handled. The bowl also does not get too hot to handle, but it might be different if the water is microwaved.

Q: All the reviews say these are grey but you have them listed as sour cream. Can you please confirm the color.
A: I ordered the entire set in sour cream and it appears blue grey on my Magnolia Alabaster shelves.

Q: Why are the cups described as having a “reactive glaze”?
A: Hi Judy K -- Thank you for reaching out! Simply put, "reactive glaze" is a broad term for the characteristic artisan-like finishes from the kiln heating process. It cannot wholly be predicted how the finish will end up looking.
