I was nervous about quality since it’s polyester but I’ve machine-washed several times already and there’s been no change to the texture, it’s super soft. I air-dry but it only takes about 2 hours. The mane did shed a bit prior to the first wash, as others have noted, but I’ll keep this at 5 stars since it did stop.

I was hesitant to get this after having the head of the dog version come off with one toss into the air but after meticulously checking the stitching in store on all the lions heads to ensure the best chances that it wouldn’t come off, we got this for my 12 week old. He seems to like the feel of the fabric and smiles at it - although he smiles at most things.

it is just the cutest blanket ever. it has an animal head on top of it, stitched together very well. perfect size for a baby/infant. does great in the washer, easy to clean. great security blanket/ animal all in one. my child absolutely loves his. i highly recommend. great quality, great value, my child's favorite. they come in different colors with different variety of animals. also it is very soft.

I bought the Small Security Blanket - Cloud Island Lion as a gift for my baby nephew. It is absolutely adorable! He loves to snuggle with it against his face. The silky feeling under part and edging is a nice offset to the fuzzy outside. I love that the face parts are stitched and not buttons. It's really a cute security type blanket for a little one.

When this security blanket arrived I almost threw it away. It is not very nice looking kind of scary of course a baby doesn’T know this. I am not impressed at all and my grandson had less interest. Maybe it is just me but would not buy for anyone
