[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tricycle from smarTrike (not a misnomer) has a lot to love about it. It has transitioned with my daughter from me pushing her with her little feet on the footrests to zooming around on her own. Every step along the way it had appropriate features. A sunshade to keep the sun off my little girl's sensitive skin. a harness to keep her snug in the seat, and a storage bag to carry everything I needed for her when she was just a wee lass. Now with just a bucket on the back to carry the treasures she finds on her ride. That's not to say that it's perfect but what is? It took quite a bit of training to keep her feet on the footrests. The ability to keep those pedals from moving or removing them until she was ready would have been ideal. The handle is a little flimsy (but it didn't break) and maybe too responsive as it is hard to just go straight at times. But really that's it other than that I don't have any complaints. Overall the thirty minutes it took me to assemble and the joy my daughter has gotten from this makes this 4-1 tricycle from smarTrike a great value.

I loved the item (how it looks and color) until I started to put together and noticed you cannot use the canopy without the white guard rail. I returned the bike because it isn’t what I was expecting.

I got this for my grandson 1 year birthday. It was easy to put together and he seems to like it. It would be great if the I has a quick folding option and some cushion in the seat and back area.

For now I put her in it with the seatbelt and push her with the handle attached. Similar to a stroller, but more fun! Later as she grows, she can use it as an actual trike without the seatbelt and pedal it on her own. I love products that last for more than just a few months and this will definitely fit that bill!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the smarTrike for a couple of weeks and we have really enjoyed it. When it first arrived I was pretty surprised because the box was much smaller than I would have expected. Don't let that fool you. Putting the smarTrike together took about 20 minutes, everything basically snaps together except 2 screws for the wheels and the storage box. It was simple to put together and converting to one of the 4 stages is very easy too. It is very easy to push and steer when used as a stroller and the little one climbed right in before I could even remove the tags. He just loves it. All four stages are fun and will be used as the time comes. For now, the little likes that as I am pushing he puts his feet on the peddles. We use it to go for walks to get big brother from school and when walking the farmers market. I know this will be used throughout all stages it is very sturdy and durable.

It took about 15 minutes to put it together, it was very sturdy but lightweight and very easy to push. I like that the straps are adjustable so you get a good secure fit. The parental control handle is very easy to steer and it rolls easily from grass to sidewalk without any problems Also the storage area in the back is great for small toys. .You will be really happy that your child will be able to use this for the next couple years as they grow and can use it all on their own.

My daughter was eager to sit on it and go for a ride. She can't pedal by herself yet so I like that she can rest her feet on the pink bars. The handle is tall, turns smoothly and includes a small and medium size storage bag as well as a little plastic container for whatever your toddler wants to take on their ride. He loves riding his bike at home so this was perfect for him. When we go places I keep the handle on so I can push him. The steering works well and it isn't hard to control. He says it is comfortable and looks like he sits comfortably in it. The harness seat belt keeps him from escaping. There is plenty of storage so I can throw all of our stuff in there and not have to worry about carrying a backpack on my back. I love that it can be rode as a bike when the kiddo is older. My son is old enough to actually ride it and he really likes it. It isn't the most compact to take places but my son does well with it so the space it takes up in my SUV is worth it.

Was lightweight and easy to lay down in the back of my SUV. My toddler enjoyed it on the sidewalk and then when we went to retail stores much more than going and taking the stroller. Depending on the age of your child, the parent can maneuver it or the child can peddle it. This is age appropriate for children ages 15 months through 36 months and can be adapted to suit their needs. The back support and canopy can easily be removed as they age and used for support and carrying objects when they are younger. This tricycle was super simple to put together, the included directions were very detailed. Assembling this tricycle only took approximately 30 minutes. This tricycle is super cute! I love the black and white colors parted together, it looks very modern and stylish! The colors are also very gender neutral. The tricycle itself is very well made and the quality is great! We couldn’t wait to try his new tricycle out! This tricycle is so easy to maneuver and the wheels glide effortlessly. I love the 3-point harness and safety bar as it gives me piece of mind knowing my little one is safe and secure. Until my little one learns how to ride, I am in control of the steering. Once he is ready, I can easily switch it to allow him to do it on his own with a switch of a button and a twist of the wheel! I also like that there is a footrest so his little feet don’t drag. The canopy is a great feature to block out the sun and it is removable when not needed. Another added bonus is this tricycle has a basket which is great for storage! Since the weather has been so nice, we have used this tricycle so many times over the past few weeks. Before this tricycle we would use our stroller for our daily walks around the neighborhood but my little one now prefers the tricycle as it lets him feel like a big boy! He also loves using it in the house! My little one has even started to practice to peddle and is doing great! I can’t wait to move him to the second stage to see how he does.
