I brought the lilac mod color for my granddaughter who is due to be born in July. This travel system feels very sturdy. I don’t see any negatives at all so far, and the color is BEAUTIFUL. We had a Graco travel system for my first granddaughter 6 years ago, and it was wonderful. This one seems just as sturdy and well made.

Despite what is advertised, this is certainly not company nor light. There are other strollers on the market that fold more compactly and take up less space. This system is an absolute nightmare to travel with as well.

We love the car seat and ability to switch the direction of the stroller in the car seat (can face out or in!) . Similar to other reviewers, however, the maneuverability has worsened a lot and requires almost a dragging of the front wheels to go in a direction. I am not sure if we need to replace the wheels or tighten an axel? Can someone from Graco reach out to me about this?

Horrible Manueverability

I have been using this stroller for 5 months now and am highly disappointed in it. I had high hopes for it based on reviews (or maybe my stroller is just defective). My husband and I have to fight to keep it going straight. The right wheel in particular does not want to keep in a straight line. I took it to the mall (so smooth tile) other day, and my right wheel would not stay straight, just was turned 90 degrees so I couldn’t hardly maneuver it at all. It is also requires some effort to turn since when you go to turn, it doesn’t want to right itself straight again. I like all the options it has, but the actual maneuverability of the stroller sucks.

Good Purchase!

I bought this travel system to keep in my vehicle for when I babysit my niece, and I purchased it based on reviews I read. The system was easy to put together, which was a plus due to my physical limitations, and it's very practical for when my niece starts growing (i.e. roomy pram & toddler seat conversion). I haven't used the stroller on different terrains yet, but for now, it moves smoothly over paved areas. Also, once you install the car seat base in your vehicle, the car seat is very easy to install and detach (even with the baby inside of it). So far, I'm glad I purchased it. If anything changes, I'll see if I can update this review.

We purchased this set for our 4 months old grandson's first visit over the 4th so our son and his wife didn't have to haul theirs along on the plane. I researched prior to purchase and found that this set was highly rated especially considering the price point. The only reason I took a star off was that it is a bit cumbersome to figure out and the instructions are not the clearest or most helpful. However, I managed to put the stroller together by myself in a reasonable amount of time. Additionally, the pramette is tilted slightly downward at the head end, though that could eliminate itself as baby grows (though at that point the pramette option is probably not used anymore). The features of both the stroller and the car seat are both comfortable for baby and practical for accompanying adult. Overall, very happy with this purchase and can only recommend!

Bulky, hard to use

I have had this travel system for a year so i can give be fair with my review. The stroller is very bulky. It will not stand up if you want to fold it. The pram part is very wobly. When you want to have it as a regular seat it is hard to click the straps back in to give it that seat shape. Have to take baby off so you will need someone else to help. The cup holder adds to the bulkyness by being in the way. The stroller and carseat canopy is very deep taking up space. You have to estimate the connection when adding seat or carseat to the stroller youll be there for a while making sure it clicks. Does not glide as easy as other models. When you have the carseat facing you in stroller it makes it hard to use the basket because of how low the carseat is to it. (Not an issue if its the seat t using). Baby had an accident and had to take off the carseat cover to wash and it was a nightmare take it off/putting on as the straps is secure by a metal bar i had to use a hammer to snap it back in place. So keep that in mind that removal of straps is not recommended. Only thing i liked is the color of the system and the look. I only bought this because i loved my graco modes click connect travel system and decided to give this a try (graco customer was no help in getting one similiar). I have this still because it was expensive and i cant afford the less bulky models.

Got this for our daughter and it's just OKAY. For the price, I was assuming it would be better quality and easier to connect/disconnect. I take our little one for walks frequently and it is SO HARD to disconnect the car seat from the stroller, especially if I'm by myself. I have to lock it in park, press my knee against the stroller, then try to wiggle and detach the car seat from the stroller. Doing all of this and trying not to wake or shake my little one around too much. Disappointed.

I bought this stroller for the convenience however the pramette portion is horrible. The babies head sit later lower than the rest of their body (yes, they are positioned as low as they can be, thanks graco) and they still slope down. It tips and isn’t secure, and the canopy doesn’t go down far enough so the sun was beaming in her face.

Pramette not functional - 1 year ago
originally posted on gracobaby.com
Car seat worked great for us but the stroller not so much. When we purchased this Graco system, we were very excited for the multi use system, specifically the pramette. Sadly, the pramette is hardly functional. When we put the baby in the pramette mode, his head tilts lower than his feet, making it unsafe for him to be in there. And yes, we have tried a number of times to make it work by scooting him lower so that his feet would be lower than his head but it’s simply not functional.
1 reply from Graco Consumer Care team - 1 year ago
Thank you for reaching out to Graco Baby. We are sorry to hear about the issue you have experienced with your Modes Pramette. When in pramette mode, your little one must be fully harnessed and positioned towards the lower end of the pramette seat for proper use. When your little is positioned too high, it can cause the pramette to lean head down. I hope this helps!

Descent Budget Stoller but with few issues

3 out of 5 stars

I bought this stroller a year ago and have now used all 3 modes of the travel system. At first, I was quite happy with the stroller. It was what you would expect for the price. However, I have used it long enough to know that there are some issues I wish I had known about before. First, the cup and phone holders are incredibly loose - I was losing my water bottle all the time or spilling my coffee (every time the cup holder hit something, especially while shopping, the cup holder would either fall or tilt sideways). I have also lost both of those holders because they were so loose that they fell off while out and about. And I am having the HARDEST time finding identical replacements. Secondly, the bassinet is very wobbly and the head of the baby sits lower than they're feet. It doesn't look right, and can't be good for the baby. So unfortunately, we hardly used the bassinet. The flap on the cover is also floppy and doesn't stay open. It would have been great if there was a little velcro piece to hold it in place so you can always see baby in the stroller. In addition to these, a larger issue we had was the stroller wheels becoming incredibly stiff and difficult to maneuver after about 6 months. Which made it almost impossible to use the stroller with one hand. Things that I like are how light the stroller system is, the huge space for storage underneath, and the food tray. It's also nice to have a stroller that grows with your baby.

Stroller is not sturdy

I bought this for my daughter before the baby was born because I like all the features. However now thatmy daughter and I have used it in the pramette mode, we both are concerned that the bassinette is not sturdy. It rocks back and forth and is tilted back so that the baby's head is lower than her feet. Also it does not seem to handle bumps on the sidewalk well. Also, the car seat is not set up well for an infant as it lacks a position with adequatehead support.

The basinet is very unsafe for newborns!!!!!! It keeps tilting to the back and when i put my baby in it his head was waaay lower than his feet level! I tried to put the seat up a little so it would even out and yet it still was lower head side! My baby was lifting his feet up and because it was hanging lower on his head side his feet came to his face and was about to fall backwards if I haven’t caught him! It was horrible and a terrifying experience specially for a new mom! I hope they recall this model or at least try to fix it and make it steadier, not like doll’s stroller!

Overall it's a good stroller and 3 in 1. However my issue is with the wheels. The ones that come with the stroller are good for light use but will eventually need to be replaced. Obviously the more you use it the faster the tires wear out. The other issue with the tires are there size. If you live in a place where you don't get snow they are fine. But the lack of additional tire sizes is ridiculous. The need for larger tires in snow or soft ground is needed. Other manufacturers allow modifications to wheels for this reason.
