The last two bottles I’ve purchased (two different stores) have been a disgusting, yellow goopy mess. I thought “ok once maybe” but Now TWO bottles from different stores. Something isn’t right.

This is a great product! Better than Dairy Queen’s shell. Most of the reviewers here don’t realize that this is essentially chocolate flavored coconut oil. The yellow/white “gross looking stuff” is literally just coconut oil and sunflower oil. Run the bottle under hot water for a little bit and it will all melt together, shake the bottle up and pour it on top of your ice cream. The hot water melts the coconut oil and mixes it with the chocolate, when it touches the ice cold ice cream, the coconut oil solidifies and turns into the shell. Great taste, I would recommend this to everyone

I literally just bought this at the store and it doesn’t expire til august if next year. It’s sad that the review won’t let me upload photos but it is what it is. I’ve loved this product all my life so I was highly disgusted and disappointed to see this yellow and grey goop come out despite me constantly shaking it trying to make it go away. The stars above are just the rating on this single bottle.

I've been getting this product since I was a kid, it's been a staple in my house for years and I have to say I'm very disappointed with the bottle that I bought recently. First after shaking it for like two minutes of shaking it came out almost clear and yellow, then I shook it more and it came out all clumpy and gross. (And just to preface I keep my house cool but not freezing so it didn't get too warm or too cold.)

Using this on top of vanilla ice cream wonderfully recreates the experience of the “Original Ice Cream Bar”. Shake well. If it gets cold while in the bottle run under warm water. Takes about a minute and a half to harden once applied, depending on the thickness and quantity. Good chocolate flavor.
