Q: Do you have to store it in the fridge? Do you have to stir it before using?

A: Our Organic Creamy Peanut Butter does not need to be refrigerated after opening, but will need to be stirred before use. We recommend "cutting into” the peanut butter with a knife in a “star” shape to allow the oil to seep down the jar. Using a utensil in an up and down motion will also help the oil move throughout the jar.

I have tried several organic peanut butters and Smucker's is by far the best. Others are soupy with too much oil. Ingredients are simply organic peanuts and salt. Very peanuty taste. It does have to be stirred to combine oil with the peanut butter, and it's a bit more expensive, but it is worth it.

This is my favorite peanut butter. It's a great price for an organic peanut butter, especially compared to similar products at whole foods. I also love that it comes in a glass jar, as opposed to other peanut butters sold in plastic. Just keep in mind that it separates easily so you'll need to mix it a bit.

Love that this peanut butter has only 2 ingredients and comes in a glass jar! Yes, you do have to work at mixing the oil initially, but it’s worth it. Good tasting creamy peanut butter that goes well on whole wheat bread and chia seeds. Will keep buying again and again.

This is the first time I purchased this. Trying to stir it was a nightmare. The oil spilled out everywhere. The texture is awful. Very, very grainy. Not at all smooth. I’m extremely disappointed.

I opened jar (3) and oil came spilling out. The Oil and peanut butter separated. Stirred it and it was like the consistency of a thin milk shake. Taste and smell was nasty and there were still tiny pieces of nuts in it although sold as "creamy". Most disgusting peanut butter I have ever tasted in my life. Complete waste of money.

I have been eating Smuckers creamy peanut butter for 20 years. I switched to organic sometime in last 10 years or so, and have loved it. Sometimes it is more runny, other times it is super hard and extremely difficult to get a knife or spoon in to stir it. I am ok with it being runnier, I just stir it up really well and slather it on bread or eat it off of a spoon or banana but do not care for taste or feel or hassle of stirring/eating it when it has hardened in jar. When it has not hardened, I have always enjoyed the taste, and would easily have given it 5 stars in past, but in last year something has changed tastewise with the organic, and I don't care for it as much...less salt maybe? Not sure. I noticed the change around the time the organic pb labeling changed. I haven't tried another pb yet, but might have to, if I can't learn to love this as much as I did a year ago.

The best tasting, healthiest peanut butter ever. It contains only peanuts and 1% salt. Stay away from peanut butters that have hydrogenated oils. Those are not healthy options.

I love feeling like I'm eating healthier and it's worth the extra $ for me. When i first started getting them they were super hard to stir but the ones ive received recently have been a lot easier. It tastes like just peanuts and salt, but in a good way. I like to put it on a hot waffle so it's extra creamy, warm, and melty.

I love the glass jar AND metal lid with a seal - excellent packaging! The one thing that would make this a better butter - NON GMO certification. I have used Smat Balance for years because it is NON GMO but I can no longer support the plastic jar and lid so I made the move to Smuckers and have no regrets. NON GMO would be a bonus!

This review is actually for the Chunky version of organic natural peanut butter by Smuckers. It is simply delicious, roasted peanut flavor. It is a bit runny at first and you have to stir it well. You can turn the nice glass jar upside down, too. I do not refrigerate mine as I like it at room temperature. It has very little salt and no sugar added, so you taste the peanuts. The chunks are small and give a nice texture. I like that it is organic. Unfortunately, Target didn't have it the other day when I went there, and I am afraid they may not be carrying it any longer. They did have the Natural one in the chunky version, just not organic, I believe.
