We love our SodaStream and the Mountain Dew. Very comparable to regular soda, but healthier and less expensive! Can’t beat it’nn

I bought mountain dew, Dr. Pete, and root beer flavor and they all taste bad to me. Nothing like the original flavors. They have a weird after taste, almost like a diet soda. I couldn't drink any of them. I didn't even bother to taste the root beer because the first 2 I tasted were gross to me.

It was just okay. Not something I would drink as an alternative to actual Mountain Dew. Every flavor seems to have a strange aftertaste, but this was the better one of the three I’ve tried.

No matter how I mix it, it tastes terrible and flat. I’ve tried different water and more carbonation and more syrup and less syrup - nothing works to make this not taste terrible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family enjoyed the flavor and found it very close to the taste out of the can! They liked that they could make it as carbonated as they wanted. It saved my husband from buying a lot of pop at work every day!

It doesn't taste like mnt Dew it has sucralose in it and it doesn't taste the same

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually enjoy sodas I make with my soda stream such as Pepsi and Coca Cola, but I don’t think this Mountain Dew tasted like real Mountain Dew I tasted both the soda stream version and the real one per usual and it tasted extremely artificial and didn’t even taste like the real thing. I was super excited to receive this as I usually enjoy the sodas with the soda stream because they taste extremely similar to the real thing but this was a disappointing fail.

Ok this gets the job done. I think Pepsi tastes more like Pepsi if that makes sense. This MTN Dew is good and will get the job done when you craving the dew however it almost has a diet or off brand taste to it which isn’t a dealbreaker or anything for me. I will say soda streams brand version of the mtn dew is better imo.

I knew they tasted strange lately. For some reason they add two artificial sweeteners. I get that they want to lower the amount of sugar, but we buy the non-sugar free version for taste and now it tastes weird. There is already a diet version, keep the artificial sweeteners in the diet drinks.

Tastes great, and I love that I can adjust the amount of flavor (standard Mountain Dew is just too strong for me). I don’t love that it’s got sucralose, but that’s unfortunately a given with sodastream—and I don’t taste it nearly as much as I do in the starry (which is disgusting, imo). The biggest issue I have is that this one flavor of sodastream syrups I have (several Pepsi brand and sodastream brand) says it requires refrigeration. I only found that, a month or two after opening it (and after many, many times using it), because I was curious how much caffeine it has and started reading all the itty bitty print on the bottle. I was shocked that this particular flavor says to store in the refrigerator after opening when all the other flavors I have just say to keep in a cool, dark place. I’m not tossing the rest of the bottle, I just stuck it in the fridge when I saw that and am hoping for the best. Wish me luck! I do think it should be printed larger and somewhere more obvious, since it’s not typical of these syrups.

I didn't look at the ingredients before purchasing. I just assumed it was made with regular sugar or hfcs because there is a zero version. Why bother doing this? I was so excited to find this and now I am super disappointed. Just make it like normal mountain dew. Why is that so hard? I mean, the syrup already exists already. Just put it in your special little bottle.

It’s a really good replacement to Mountain Dew, however why does EBT cover regular Mountain Dew but not this?

If I wanted Diet Mnt Dew, I would have purchased that one, not regular. The regular option tastes nothing like what you would buy in a can, but exactly like diet mnt dew. So disappointing. I can’t get past the artificial sweetener aftertaste. I won’t be buying this one again.

Tasted just like fountain pop Mountain Dew. Great!
