A: Hi there! All of our plastic bottles are 100% BPA- and BPS-free and are available in the 1L or 0.5L size. Our bottles do not contain PFAS. Per- or poly-fluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS chemicals, are a family of thousands of chemicals used to make water-, grease- and stain-repellent coatings for a vast array of consumer goods and industrial applications. They have been used since around the 1940s and are notoriously persistent in the environment and the human body, and some have been linked to serious health hazards. For the most part, US industries have removed the use of these types of chemicals. The study read by the customer has to do with bottled water companies where the origin of the water and or chemicals used in processing get into the finished product. We only sell the bottle and are not in control of the origin of tap water, our products do not contain PFAS chemicals.

Q: Why are you advertising this as Pepsi but it clearly has artificial sugar? It should be listed as Diet Pepsi. So glad I looked at the label info before I bought it.

Q: Why is this labeled like regular Pepsi, if it contains sucralose & is zero calories? I don't want a diet flavored soda mix that has an aftertaste.

Tastes kind of close, but it's definitely not the same flavor as real pepsi. Considering these companies manufacture their syrups to be sold in large bags in boxes for restaurants, I don't know why the syrup for sodastream is different. I think it tastes like decent cola, my wife won't even drink it.

I think the taste is spot on “Pepsi” and I had not realized that it had sucrose used as a sweetener until I came here to right a review. That being said I can detect a slight taste of sucrose which I HATE but having the Pepsi flavor means more to me, and I feel this syrup has that Pepsi flavor. I buy it when it’s on sale.

I don't generally rate 3, but this item is confusing. It's labeled as pepsi but tastes nothing like that. It's more like a general cola flavor. However, I like the taste, cost efficiency, and lack of high fructose corn syrup in traditional soda. Would enjoy it more if it was only sugar or cane sugar with no artificial sweeteners. My partner, who usually hates diet sodas, said it's not bad but could still taste the artificial sweetener. 🤷♀️

I was very excited that soda stream now had a Pepsi syrup to use and was looking forward to using less cans and saving some money. I figured this would be very much like the actual syrup used in the canned and bottled products. Only after I made my first bottle and nearly spit it out did I realize it is made with sucralose. Seems that sucralose is being put in more and more things. Sweeteners leave a very bad taste in my mouth and no matter what anyone says, yes, you can taste the difference. This is NOT a diet soda, yet it tastes like one. I am very disappointed by this. Yes, I probably should have read the label, but I naively thought that non diet Pepsi would not have artificial sweetener. I will not be trying this again.

Why on earth can't they say on the front of the bottle that this is a diet soda -- and tastes like it too. Yukkk! Yes, I know, buried in the ingredient list is sucralose and I could have done more due diligence, but this is just soda, not a house, car or some complicated machinery. Would it really hurt to put "diet" or "low calorie" on the front of the bottle. C'mon guys.

So if you are wanting to drink a pop immediately it’s great. But if you want to use this to store up some beverages for lunch for work/school forget it. The drink will be flat after storage. It’s highly disappointing since I was hoping to slash the amount of plastic bottles/cans we have to throw out. And I was so hopeful it would also save money on buying these in bulk. So yes I’m disappointed.

I’m disappointed with these syrups. They are quite expensive, you have to add more than recommended to have the sweetness comparable to the originals, but this in particular; regular Pepsi, tastes like a diet one. I hate that aftertaste, it should not taste like that. Weird. Also, I only can see one page of reviews, no filters work, just the same few reviews starting from 2023.
