I love this soap, not just because it's so good. It only take a small amount to lather. It's so cheap with the price.

Terrible scent! The old soothing aloe Vera was the very best hand soap ever! I have super sensitive hands and the old product was perfect! The new scent is strong and terrible!! It’s hard to find a great soap that is not antibacterial! Bring the old tried and true back please!!!!

We had a lot of the large refill size bottles used to fill up all of our soap dispensers. The only product we have used for years because i have sensitive skin and many of the other brands make my skin crack from being dry and bleed. Plus, i loved how there was no major scent or perfume. Apparently we finished up our supply of softsoap we had on hand, so we bought another bottle. The bottle looked a little different, but the product inside looked the same. Then noticed that there was a very strong scent left on my hands. I figured someone in the house had mixed up the soap dispensers and put in thr wrong soap. It didnt take long before my hands started to become very dry and crack. This wasnt an issue before... then inlook online and apparently nobody likes the change in formula. We all agree that it smells bad and is harsh on the skin. This was a very popular product that many people with allergies or other sensitivities would use because it was gentle and unscented. Not anymore. Gonna find a new brand and throw this one away. Boooooo!

What have you done to the scent? It’s so perfumey and we all hate it. I’ve been buying this for years and won’t buy again.

The previous formula was geat. Mild scent. Gentle on hands and moisturizing. Whoever "improved" the formula ought to be looking for a new career. This hand soap no longer moisturizes the skin. In fact it dries out the skin. The red and yellow food dye irritates the skin. The scent is overpowering and just smells cheap. Never buying this hand soap again.

I don' t know what I can say that hasn't already been said. I am scent-sensitive, and I have used this product exclusively for many years. I have bought gallons of refills - I was a loyal customer. I bought my first bottles with the new scent recently, and it is appalling. It's cloying, it lingers, and it triggers my migraines. There are so many scented hand soaps for the lucky folks who can enjoy them. Why steal this one away from the rest of us?

I cannot believe that this white hand soap contains various numbered dyes! My son is allergic to red food dye, and this contains red 33. He had a reaction. It also contains Sodium Benzoate which is known to cause hyperactivity in children. I’ve thrown this soap out and will never buy it again.

This used to be the only hand soap I purchased, but I haven’t since the scent change. It’s not even kind of the same product and I am incredibly disappointed. The new scent is terrible, overbearing, and lingers in a bad way. Please please please bring back the original. Please.

Not bad but I like the method brand that has a sturdier base. Doesn’t fall over as often

Why change a good thing???!!! Strong fragrance in new formula is overpowering for those of us with fragrance sensitivity.

Agreeing with basically every other review - the new scent is horrible. I have switched to another brand and will no longer be buying this soap. Hopefully one day they will bring back the regular scent but not holding out much hope.

Been buying this stuff in gallons for over a decade. Now they’re adding some scent I’m horribly allergic to. Only CHEAP perfumes do it. Now, trying to get rid of this stuff out of my soap pump has put this execrable smell all over my house and given me a blistering headache. Shame on you guys! What marketing or product guru said, let’s add a smell it doesn’t need, and what brilliant engineering team didn’t test it on people with allergies? All sorts of people are leaving the same review about these products. Means you were either cheap to test it or even research how selected ingredients in the formulation are known to affect some consumers. And if you tell ME to call YOU in your reply, Colgate, after I leave my email below, we know also what you think of customer service.

Used to be unscented or very mild. Now has a strong scent. Time to find a new soap. 🙁

I can’t stand this new formula. It smells very strong and makes my hands itchy and sensitive. Please bring back your older formulation with the mild scent (or no scent at all would be better). I stopped buying soft soap because of this product change. The old formula was the only one of your products my skin could tolerate.

Absolutely HATE the new overpowering scent. I've used Soft Soap for years but shall be changing to something else as soon as this refill is empty .. sooner rather than later I hope. WHY OHNWHY did you mess with the original mild scent. What a mistake to change.

We have been buying Soft Soap, the Aloe Vera scent, for years and this new scent is awful! My husband can't stand it and wants me find another. Looks like the Original Aloe Vera has been discontinued. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!

Maybe I can be the tipping point. So many others on here have complained about the new scent of the Aloe Vera. I think the new scent is awful. It is way too strong and has ruined my opinion of Soft Soap. My household will not be purchasing any more Soft Soap products unless the previous version is brought back. You lost another long time customer.
