A: There are no old versions of our products as we're still a new brand! This said, we have two Collections - our Go! Collection sold here at Target, and our Luxe Collection sold in department, specialty and spa locations. EWG Verification is a process we're undergoing with this brand new Go! A: This gives you a natural satin finish (not matte/flat). If you want glowy + bright, we recommend Vacation Glow as it contains built in illuminators. Many of our customers mix the two!

Just applied this to my dry skin and no white cast at all! Very easy to apply not thick, quite impressive! Texture is lighter than the Clean Freak sunscreen.

I applied on back of my hand to spot test. It felt pretty thick once on, given its lotion like consistency. After about fifteen minutes it started to have a cooling sensation. Within about 30 minutes it became a numbing sensation, like I put on lidocaine. I don’t have any known allergies to anything in this, but I do have sensitive, reactive skin. So I would proceed with caution and definitely spot test!!!

It’s too hard to regulate to try to get a smaller amount as I’m applying to different areas of my face. A smoother more variable pump action would be a nice to have. I’ve tried a lot of sunscreens that are supposedly for sensitive skin and safe, but this seems to live up to its promises. No weird skin reactions so far.

There reaches a point where there is still a lot of product left in the bottle but it won’t come out through the pump anymore. I end up having to unscrew the top and shake it out, which gets messy sometimes and is definitely inconvenient. It’s still a great product for a great price so I still buy it but I would love it if it came in a different package.

This product applies easily and absorbs well. It feels good on. My skin feels softer. I have rosacea and this product doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Also it’s a clean product, certified by the Environmental Working Group. I am very happy to have found Solara’s Go! Daily Defense Soothing Mineral Face Sunscreen. I plan to continue using it all year round.

This burned my eyes worse than any sunscreen I’ve ever used! It was not placed anywhere near the eyes when I applied it in the morning before makeup. Went about my day and then used my regular makeup removing balm to wash everything off. I can’t begin to explain how badly my eyes burned. Even after using my daily face wash and my eyes were continued to burn when I rinsed that off too. Nothing helped besides just waiting it out. My eyes were bright red and irritated for the following 12 hours. I had a similar experience with the Morphe spf setting spray, but the burn was nowhere near as bad as this. Seriously just pass on this one, I don’t understand how other people who have this high reviews didn’t have this problem. And for the record, this was the only new product I had used so I know it was not caused by something else.

I’ve tried a few other EWG verified sunscreens, but they all left a terrible white cast, especially after a second application 2 hours later. This one does not leave a white cast even after 3 applications. It doesn’t irritate my very sensitive skin either. I’m so grateful I found this product.

This sunscreen provides spf coverage without the annoying white cast. Also, it doesn’t irritate my skin when I use a different serum and moisturizer combination on days when I use AHA/BHAs to exfoliate.

Based on the EWG rating and high reviews I was hoping I had found a comfortable and safe facial sunscreen. Prior to a hike, I applied this sunscreen to my face and neck and immediately had that sweaty smothering feeling of a product I wanted to wash off. I hoped the feeling would subside but after a one hour hike, my face was dripping with sweat and my neck felt itchy. The pros: it goes on fairly easy and didn't leave much of a white cast. The cons: felt very uncomfortable and sweaty and my neck still itched the next day. The search continues.
