Sony INZONE Buds Truly Wireless Noise Cancelling Gaming Earbuds

Recently bought as it hurt to wear headphones with my glasses. The sound quality is great, the battery life is fantastic and the supporting software is easy to use and understand. The microphone quality could be better, though they are just earbuds at the end of the day. Also appreciate them arriving with interchangeable earbud tips with different sizes, as my right ear is slightly misshapen and needs a larger size bud, of which Sony's fit well.

I bought this for a lightweight PS4 headset solution. But the buds regularly slip out of my ear and fall, regardless of what size of silicon bud adapter I use. I also own a pair of bose QC buds which I unfortunately was unable to use with the PS4, the shape of their buds are such that friction is created with more of the ear’s surface area and as a result the buds never fall out. I expected a heck of a lot better for such an expensive item.

This is the best gaming bud I ever had. It is study, battery lasts forever, the spatial sound is really great! This is a great piece of engineering!

For what I want these have been very good. Quality is better than expected

These earbuds are the best gaming earbuds for PC available right now. They connect easily, are configurable with software, work great, and sound amazing

Brought these about a month ago and really happy with my purchase as I'd usually buy headphones but over the years found them heavy after an hour of gaming or so, I would of gave 5 stars if there was an app for playstation 5 so I could sort the settings through that instead of having to plug them into my laptop whenever I want to adjust settings.

This product has huge issues with syncing. The left earbud rarely if ever works. Also when I play online games, teammates say the mic quality is horrendous. Would not recommend!

I bought this 1 week ago and couldn't be happier. Sound is supperb, better than my over head headphones. I use primarily on ps5, the 3d audio is fantastic. Light and comfortable in the ear, with great battery life. Best in ear audio for ps5 out there. Used on my pc too. No complaints.

You can’t fault them i love them and use them everyday, battery life is very good, sound is good, very happy.

I've only had the buds for a few weeks now. I usually wait a couple of months before I write & submit a review, but this time after using these practically non-stop for close to eight days, there is no reason to wait any longer. Let me preface this by saying that, for approx. a year now, I've been looking for a quality pair of Buds that I can use with my Playstation 5. I wanted a pair that would last longer than four to five hours. I had been holding off on buying the Inzone Buds as I already have the Inzone H9 headset and wasn't sure if the Inzone Buds would work that well. I've purchased FOUR different sets of buds. I have Buds that have a special way to mold themselves to your ear for an awesome fit. I have buds that were specifically designed for my gaming console. I have buds that are able to connect to my PS5, My cell, my laptop AND My PC all at the same time. YES, all these buds have awesome features, YET I'm still looking for that "special pair"...the pair that would connect to my PS5 without issues AND LAST for more than four to five hours. That has been the "quest" that i've been on for approx. a year now. FINALLY, MY JOURNEY HAS COME TO AN END WITH THE PURCHASE OF THESE InZone Buds!! I've set up the Inzone hub on my laptop and I'm able to experience everything these buds has to offer. It's also a plus that I'm able to use the same hub for my H9 HEADPHONES. All OF MY buds ARE from different manufacturers. It didn't matter who made them because on average every pair only lasted approx. four hours. FIVE HOURS IS the absolute longest one pair lasted. Upon receiving my InZone Buds and doing the unboxing, I noted the packaging was sufficient to provide enough cushion for the buds themselves. You get the buds along with the USB-C Dongle inside the case itself. The case comes with a short charge (Mine did anyhow) but you should hook it up and charge it to full capacity before doing anything with them to start. Along with the case with the buds in them you also get a short USB to USB-C chord, along with a few paper "booklets" containing "quick-start" guide, warranty info, etc. Once my battery was fully charged it was time to get in and see how well they work. Let me just say I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!!! First I attempted to pair them with my phone (Z-Fold 5) . I remember reading on one of these reviews that you can't pair the Inzone Buds with your USB-C Phone unless you use the dongle. While that maybe be true with some phones, it's not entirely the case with ALL phones. If you have a "newer" phone that has the LE audio then you can connect WITHOUT USING THE USB-C DONGLE. Unfortunately any Apple products (I-phone & I-the Pads) DON'T utilize this setting so you are out of luck using these with any Apple products. I've only run into one "issue" so far and that is switching between "USB Transceiver" mode and "Bluetooth mode". I had the buds paired with my phone on Bluetooth mode and then used the Dongle in my PS5. Being that I don't have to use the dongle on my phone I couldn't figure out how to switch it to "USB Transceiver mode" in order to get sound on my console. I looked through all of the literature, that which was provided with the purchase & delivery, and also online. I even went into the hub to figure out if I could program it through the "touch" parameters. No Joy!! Finally I was just fed up and quickly touched both buds at the same time, and boom straight into USB transceiver mode we went. I haven't switched it off yet, in order to use it on my phone. One feature that I'm going to take advantage of is the one-time 30 minute call you get with a Sony rep in the department in which your product belongs too. Then I'll be able to figure out the minor "issue" I'm reluctant to address with the "USB transceiver mode' and Bluetooth. The first time I used them I put them on at 0053 (12:53 A.M.) and did a marathon session. I finally realized it was 11:25 A.M and the Buds were still going strong. Unlike ALL THE OTHER BUDS I never received the "Earbuds battery low". Especially the Buds that are made SPECIFICALLY for my PS Console, I start getting the "battery low" warning at about 3:45 to 4:00 hour mark. Since that first time I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A BATTERY LOW WARNING AS OF YET!! I've been averaging between 11 and 12 hours each time. In fact, I stop playing and the buds are still going strong. I really like the noise cancellation feature. These other buds have all these different features, magnetic resonance in order to have better sounds, etc. I used the Hub and did the EQ manually, I attempt to mimic a FPS mode and so far so good. Also the hub has a "fit feature" where you let the app fit the buds to your ear making sure there isn't any "air loss" while in your ear and that the buds are actually in your ear correctly. Doing all this I'll put the sound of these buds up against any of the buds that I currently own, but will probably NEVER USE AGAIN!!! Well, after close to a year of looking and trying out every new pair of earbuds on the market, I've finally found the pair that suit my needs well. I don't have to worry about being in the middle of a boss fight and getting the dreaded "Earbuds battery running low" and then having to switch to a different pair or just not using anything and letting my soundbar take over. After this happening PRETTY MUCH EVERY SINGLE TIME I USE A PAIR OF EARBUDS, it gets so "old". I'm hoping that has pretty much come to an end. If these InZone Buds continue to function as they have EVERY SINGLE TIME FOR THE PAST WEEK AND A HALF, THEN I'll be using these for the foreseeable future!!!

I nave user them on android device, tv android and, of corse, ps5 Veri good sound, spatial 8d (tested with youtube videos), best choice for game, less for mp3, but their purpose is not listen to music... Battery vero long, 5 hours of playng continously without issue, lag or disconnection

Really happy with this apart from the fact I had to borrow a windows laptop from a family member to alter settings as in one doesn’t work on Mac. Without doing this the bass was terrible and I couldn’t adjust the game/chat balance. I have now manually assigned that setting through the borrowed laptop so will only need to borrow again for software updates.

I receive Sony Enzone earbuds on the 26 of December as of yet I have not been able to get the left bud to lower volume. It turns the mic on and off but it does not lower volume. I have worked with other people to get it to be fixed to make it work and it does not work, so I am returning the product. I do not want a replacement of this item.

It would be a 5 star product if Bluetooth would have been added to it. I get it is a gaming focused product and to have low latency you need the dongle but those are earbuds that could be used to listen to music too. Shame Sony, you have lost a potential for a great earbuds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These buds are an excellent addition for any PS5 gamer, much more comfortable than the headsets, yet producing a fantastic depth and quality of surround sound. They are packaged in a smart, tactile, discreet box with a neat slot in the centre for the wireless receiver which plugs directly into the USB-C port on the front of the PS5, this is very slim and sits neatly against the console. The buds connect automatically once you start the PS5 and the quality is obvious immediately. Once you load up a game it then really comes to life, from the crowd on FIFA to bullets and explosions in Call of Duty you really feel you are right in the middle of the action. The touch control for volume and noise cancelling on Right and Left earbuds is so simple and easy to use also. Battery life is exceptional and the charging case keeps the power topped up nicely between gaming sessions. Connecting to a PC and utilising the app allows you to modify settings, the app can also assess the fit of the buds within your ears! Very impressed overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these ear buds for roughly about 2 weeks now exclusively for gaming on the PS5. Packaging is very good, nice and safe for transport, no plastic used for disposable packaging, and a nice little chargeable carry case for the ear buds, and dongle. Nice selection of sizes to fit most ears, I personally found the smallest were the most comfortable for me. The first time I used them, I pushed all audio through the ear buds to give them a good audio test. They turn up loud enough, and I didn’t feel the need to turn them all the way up. Bass response is very good, and they are crystal clear in the other frequencies as well. Spatial Audio works well, and in my opinion they work just as well for audio as overhead head phones, which I am very pleased about as the strap on overheads tends to become quite uncomfortable over long periods of time for me. The noise reduction could be a bit better, doesn’t block out everything, still lets a little bit of high frequency noise through on the harshest setting, but normal use I doubt you’d notice. The ambient noise setting works really well. I had a few long gaming sessions, with external surround speakers providing the game audio, and the ear pods providing the chat audio. This also allowed me to talk to my wife at the same time. I did have to reboot the ear pods once, as my friends were saying I sounded like a robot, but after I rebooted them, everything was fine. Really like these ear pods, found them comfortable, easy to use, and with good audio. Think I’m going to use these for the foreseeable future instead of the overheads which I was using.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The buds arrive in a charging case together with an ingenious switch which enables switching between playstation/mobile and PC. Also included is a USB - C charging cable. Therecare four sizes of silicon ear tips supplied, sizes Ss, S, M and L. The fit is comfotable but not tight, meaning they can be worn for lobg periods without discomfort. The buds work well with gaming activity on playstation, PC and phone. Also great to listen to music on phone. The 'noise cancelling'function is effective. Sound quality is superb. Battery life is good, I used for ten days moderate use before a recharge was needed. Touch control on buds to switch modes is effective, tap the left bud once for noise cancellation, ambient awareness or 'off'. Hold finger on left bud to turn microphone facility on and off. A single tap on right bud increases volume whilst a longer press lowers. Overall, great performance, comfort and functionality.

As always with sony new packaging focuses on the enviroment with a large proportion being recyclable. The buds come in a nice ergonomic case which I liked. Opening up the case the initial thoughts are that the headphones are quite chunky. For me I liked the look of the design and although appearing chunky fitted and felt really nice. Not having a playstation I am unable to state how these work woth that system but with the sound quality being great would recommend you consoder these. What what I did find was that these worked well on PC and had great sound. I also added the adaptor to several phones and tested them for listeneing to music. There was no set up issues but you do obviously have to have the added dongle to the base of your phone. Like other recent sony headphones I have tried, for me the sound is great and thats the main thing from headphones. Comfort is not comprimised but I did find the touch settings lacked compared to my other overear sony headphones. This may be with the size of the touch area being alot smaller. These headphones are definatley a great quality for playstation and PC owners to consider, but due to the operating system and dongle, would not be the best if you were someone just looking to attach them for a phone.

The microphone is also if fantastic quality when gaming online. The active noise cancelling is also very good and generally the best earbuds I have tried for ANC. One of the best things about the INZONE earbuds is the comfort of them. I can wear them for hours and don't feel the need to take them out at all, they are very lightweight and comfortable in general and personally this is one of the main advantages of the INZONE earbuds.The battery life is also excellent and a quick 5 minute charge will give 1 hour of use. The INZONE earbuds are also very good for listening to music. The provided mini USB dongle means that any mobile phone can easy connect to the INZONE earbuds with a very stable connection. This makes the INZONE we earbuds a fantastic purchase not just for gamers but also for music lovers and commuters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sony Inzone Buds are a fresh and lightweight way to have the best audio whether it's in your phone, PS5 and what i can assume your PC. What's included- In box contents with include the buds themselves, charging case, type c dongle, a super short USB-A to Type c cable, replacment tip ends, and a quick start guide. Set up- Setting these buds up couldnt of been any easier. Just make sure on type c dongle you have selected the correct system (Mobile and PS5, or PC). My experience of the buds only went as far as using them on a PS5 and mobile platform. On the Playstation you may want to configure your audio settings to adjust pitch levels but over all not too much to tinker with which i think is a good thing but did leave me a little confused. With any other flagship buds they usually come with all this baggage firmware but not in this case. Now mobile really isn't too far from the same thing, but there is an app which i can assume is used to finely tune your audio, but after i complete head tracking it doesn't give me direction of what to do next which i can assume is a bug issue, but i dont think im missing too much. Experience- I am completely blown away with the 360 audio quality, i have had the pleasure of playing Alan Wake 2 and the latest Call Of Duty while using the Inzone buds and you can pick up on every detail of sound with pin point accuracy, i would find myself almost instantly reacting to sound just on instinct. I havn't really had that experience on previously bought headphones within this price range. Battery life is amazing im yet to charge them but knowing 5 minutes of charge gives me 1 hour charge reassures me that i won't be put out for too long when they die out. Functionality- Navigation of the buds comes pre-optomised. With simple tap mechanics on the buds to navigate volume, mic's, Active noise cancellation and ambient mode. To conclude my review i am leaving with recommending these Inzone Buds with full reassurance that you wont be disappointed. Having something so lightweight makes gaming even more comfortable.
