Q: I have ordered this before and received Hoisin garlic marinade & sauce. This time I received Hoisin garlic teriyaki marinade and sauce. Has the name on the bottle changed but product the same or is this a different product?

A: Answer by soy vay is incorrect. Looking at the multiple reviews on this site & soy vay, found out the formula has in fact changed and new hoisin teriyaki isn't as good as the original Hoisin garlic. Unsure why soy vay above would say it is the same formula when it isn't?!?

every review here is begging for the original back. im with them. i used this sauce all the time, and it’s genuinely upsetting to hear it gone. i can’t stand any other sauce from this brand, none of them are palatable. this was clearly their bestselling product and it seems like an insane move to remove it from production and keep it off their roster for so long. i used it for tofu and chicken all the time, no alternative has quite compared and certainly nothing from soy vay.

First they changed the hoisin garlic to hoisin garlic teriyaki , I had no idea l now they’ve changed package and name again and I don’t even know if it’s the same product but I’m dine chasing these jerks around to understand what they’re doing. They can screw off honestly at this point. Our restaurant is now using another brand.

I had been using this for hamburgers and chicken for years. Since I could't find it this year for our July 4th BBQ, I bought the Hoisin Garlic Teriyaki - Not the same and certainly not as good. Please bring ack the original

Wow, it’s been a few years since SoyVay made the terrible decision to stop selling the original Hoisin Garlic. I thought for sure they would have brought it back by now but I guess not. Oh well, I’ve moved on to other brands since the one they sell now is way too sweet and not nearly as good.

Great as a marinade for Pork Ribs. I did not sprinkle the ribs with salt or pepper. Marinated in the fridge for two days. Placed in the oven at 375 degrees for about an hour. Be sure to line your baking sheet with foil and spray with non stick spray so the ribs don’t stick. Delish!!!

Soy Vay Hoisin Garlic was my GO TO ingredient when ever the WOK came out. When it disappeared from the store shelf I blamed store Management. Now, years later and still no inventory. Sad but true, Only the Good Die Young. Please don't suggest Teriyaki. When I want Teriyaki I make my own. Hoisin, not so easy. Soy Vay....Oi Vey !! ... Y U NO
