submitted byPhilip - 6 years agoTarget staff supportA: The center section holds 1 cup filled to the very top. I would be comfortable putting 3/4 of a cup of sauce or dip in it. The outside sections hold 1-1/2 cups filled to the very top, so 1 cup or 1-1/4 cups of sauce or dip would fit and still allow the platter to be passed. It might be a bit heavy for passing for some people when it is filled though. The empty platter weighs about 5 pounds.

Q: Does the middle container hold a 16 oz circular plastic tub of sour cream (not the sour cream scooped out of the tub and placed into the tray, but placing the plastic tub itself into the tray?)

Platter has 4 divided spaces and a center space for a dip. Each space is adequate for serving 4-6 people for horderves. Platter is a bit heavy therefore the 4 star rating.

It's a nice size try. I purchased 2 of them so I can use at the same time; one for fruit and one for veggies. It's very heavy glass. It's not super big or oversized, so it gets more use for me. I did have to refill it, which I would prefer to do so the food stays fresh. You may want something larger if you entertain bigger groups. I also like the white. Seems classic and will last for a long time

This divided serving platter has unlimited uses. I often use it for a veggies and dip platter, but honestly the uses are endless…taco toppings, ice cream sundae toppings, burger toppings and condiments, etc. I love that it isn’t plastic or melamine and looks stylish too. So versatile. Definitely recommend!
