St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Water Mousse - 6.7 fl oz - Ulta Beauty

I tested this out twice as my first self tanner ever. I think its beginner friendly because it leaves such a faint color change. I used two days in a row to darken it. However, because its clear, its hard to see where exactly ive applied the product. The tan does not last long. The first time i applied the tan, it clung to my left wrist pretty bad for some reason. The next day, i did a second application, showered, and suddenly the color is almost completely gone on my left wrist. I think this leaves a nice color for very pale people who want a natural and slightly golden glow. This definetly isnt for someone who wants to have a deep, more rich tan. The color is nice though so I think its a good beginner tan. This isnt what im looking for, so i think ill return it. Not amazing but not bad, just meh. Oh also, the smell is NOT tropical, more like cleaning supplies. It doesnt last long though. Although sometimes i thought i could taste it in my mouth afterwards…

This was my first fake tan purchase and i'm so lucky to have found the one so fast! I apply it on my face and neck with a makeup brush so I can get a natual airbrush finish. This product gives me a natural glow to my face and it gives me color without looking orange. I would say it's for people with a light skin tone. Everytime my sister comes home she uses it and loves it. She says its the best one she's tried! Since I only use it on my face and neck I don't know if it's transfer proof or not. Sometimes a little gets on my shirt when i sleep but it always washes off. There is a scent to it, i wouldn't say it smells amazing but it usually goes away once I wash my face. Overall I love this product and will be repurchasing!

If you have very light skin this stuff is amazing!I love it not too much but just enough if you ask me! would definitely recommend!

This is the best tanner I have ever used by far. I have very pale skin and it gives me an even tan. It does not smell bad and does not stain like many others. My only negative is that it is a bit sticky so I don't sleep as well at night when I apply it overnight. Overall extremely happy with this product.

Looks great on lighter skin. Easy to apply. Color lasts on arms approx 5 to 7 days. Legs was a little less due to shaving but I reapplied a light coat to maintain color when realized this.

I feel so disappointed in st tropez with this product. I have used their other ranges in the past and had no issues with streaks, but this purity gel tanner has left the most uneven streaky tan I’ve ever seen. I exfoliated and moisturised doing all the correct steps and still it’s come out like the photos below! I had to buy a tan remover just to sort this out before my holiday! Do not buy!!

Probably the best self Tanner in the world! I have very fair skin and have tried all these super expensive brands as well as those on the High Street and without doubt this is the best type of faux tan that you can buy. The colour is buildable if you want to apply consecutively in two days or daily; I apply once every three days after showering and it gives me a very believable and healthy light tan

I bought this in the kit with the water one for face. I loved both. Very sutle glow tan for winter not sure if ill use in summer but for winter it was perfect. I am going to apply twice to see if it gets darker the smell wasnt bad usually self tanners the first night is terrible but this one wasnt which was a plus. So easy to use. I have tried several brands this ones a keeper

I am ghostly pale and I have tried multiple self tanners and I was about to give up before I tried this one. Guys, this works!!!! I am going to keep purchasing this product. It doesnt streak or look orange which was something I struggled with other brands. It is soooooo natural and beautiful for someone who is extremely pale like me.

I’m Irish, EXTREMELY PALE and freckled. All sunless tanners in the past have made me look like I’m freshly coated in paint. Most of the reviews on this product is that it’s not buildable and is too light. But for anyone else who might be as translucent as I am, this is your tanner! Goes on even and still gives me a crazy nice tan that I could never achieve myself. I am buying the face mist as well, but I did use this on my face as well and got even coverage.

Great buildable tanner, builds great. Lasts for about a week. Don't have to rinse! Great color!

Definitely not orange what so ever and the smell is decent (not the usual self tanner fumes) it isn’t as sticky as others I’ve used but the color just isn’t there. I’ve used 1/3 of the foam and I’m not summer dark. If you have fair skin I’d say this is good for winter tans, but for summer no. Too pricey for it to not be able to get the desired color you want.

Im very picky about self tanners but i love this product. Not sticky, smells great and very light weight. Will last about a week. Even glow that is buildable.

I have tried so many tanners over the years and I always turned orange. I'm super pale and have freckles. GET THE WATER MOUSSE VERSION not the water gel version, it makes a big difference!!! Water mousse is easy to see and apply with the glove. It's buildable and it doesn't leave streaks! It's the most natural tan I've ever been able to achieve! I love it. Water gel Doesn't work near as well

This self tanner has a nice smell and applies super nice. I think it took me a total of 5 minutes to apply it all. The tan does not show up very well though and gets super blotchy after showering once. I have tried different methods with applying and sadly this happens no matter what.

super patchy and orange. would not recommend at all. which is surprising because I LOVE the version of this that's for the face and some other st. tropez products

Smells good and even tan

I have been using St. Tropez self tanner for YEARS and when they came out with the water Mousse, I love it even more than the original line. I am very fair and the water mousse gives me a noticeable tan but I don’t feel orange. It has a little smell once it dries but any brand that claims they have no smell at all is lying. Love this stuff!!!!

I LOVE the facial tanning mist from this line, but this one is a miss. I am pretty fair skinned who doesn't want to look too tan and even I thought this was too light. It's also tough to track when applying because it goes on clear. Overall, there are a lot of better options out there for the same price point so I did not repurchase.
