I purchased this as the one I had previously broke- this one was the worst purchase. The pieces would not stay together, it was hard to clean. Ended up just tossing it rather than keeping it. Very disappointed in the quality
Wish I had seen these reviews before I bought it

If you're looking to complicate chopping an item, then this is the food chopper for you. Doesn't cut through vegetable skins, barely fits anything in it, pain in the butt to clean. After you use it, you then have to rechop whatever it couldn't anyway. This is the second Figmint item I've bought and the second I've returned. Cute stuff, but all seems so poorly made that I think I'll be moving away from this line.

I really like the size that this chops the food down to. I wanted it because my food processor made too much juices when chopping so this was perfect. It easily comes apart to clean as well. But my main problem with it is how often it gets stuck. It will be working perfectly and then get stuck in the middle of chopping something, even if it’s not a big amount that is being chopped.
Quality blades but cup size too small

This is a lil chopper and good quality. The cup size is small so if you want to chop quarter of the onion it’s perfect. There are 4-5 pieces that assemble in this chopper and I find it bit hard to clean it. I feel it’s too much effort if you want to wash it every time. The blades are sharp and does the job well
Cute but Cheap-o

We all know it's cute. My partner went crazy on the whole Figmint line and my kitchen is full of the stuff. Most of it's good/great. This chopper, though... at $15, I feel like it's about $1 per use... then you need to buy a new one. First one: worked as expected (read the directions, people!) and we were really happy with it. After about five uses, the blade guard got warped in the dishwasher (probably my fault)... so we bought another one and kept the first one because the main unit (and clear guard) were both fine. Second one: worked for about a month... then stopped rotating when the chopper retracts. Initially assumed it was just some food stuck in there. But no, the mechanism is worn out. No problem! I have the First One, still! back to the First one: same thing... wore out after about a month in the same way. Still chops... goes up and down and all that. But doesn't rotate. So, now I just rotate it myself, LOL. Chop with the right hand, and continually rotate the whole unit with my left. It works... just annoying. I will probably buy a different brand when I see one in some random store. But I can't recommend that anybody buy this until/unless they come with a 2.0 version.
Works well!

This is an easy little hand chopper for small kitchen chopping needs, like dicing onion and garlic. It’s sharp so it will cut through most kitchen chopping jobs but if you’re trying to chop something soft it may not be as effective as the electric version. All parts are dishwasher safe and it comes completely apart so there are no hidden spots for gunk to build up!

The Figment Food Chopper is a total game changer for meal prep! The blades are super sharp, making it easy to chop everything from onions to carrots in seconds. I love the fact that it’s compact but powerful! The design is user-friendly; I just press the top a few times and everything is evenly chopped. Cleaning is a breeze too! If you’re looking for an efficient and affordable tool to speed up your kitchen routine, this food chopper is a must-have! Highly recommend!

I was gifted this by my brother and sad it doesn’t work! Very cute but tried to cut an onion and it kept getting stuck and wouldn’t chop, so I gave up and did it all With a knife… since I was gifted I’ll attempt again but. Was so bummed! 👎

I really wanted to love this food chopper but it disappointed. I chopped carrot which was fine but chopping onions was a chore. First, you can only put a 1/4 onion in and upon chopping the onion stuck to the blade and didn’t chop well enough. I think it was quicker to do it by hand. Looks great but doesn’t work as hoped.

This chopper is very cute and works well! It has made cutting veggies much easier and quicker for me. I am really not sure what is going on with all the negative reviews, and I question what people are attempting to chop.. this product works great and does the job. It is easy to assemble and take apart, and can be put in the dishwasher to be cleaned, so it's perfect to me! I was hesitant to buy because of the reviews but decided to take the chance because of the affordable price. It was definitely worth it! Give it a try, if you don't like it, you can return it, but I think it is well worth the price. If you are looking for a large, heavy duty chopper, this probably isn't for you, but I think that would be obvious. If you're looking for something efficient to make cooking a bit easier, this is perfect.

I thought I wasn’t using it properly or that I had done something wrong. Nope. Just complete waste of time and money. Didn’t chop a tomato, onion, or anything for that matter. It got stuck and was just a bad tool. Get something else, save your money.
Don't buy!
