First and foremost, this is the best machine for the money. The only recommendation would be for a better pulley system. My SO is 6’4” and I’m 5’6” and there’s a lot of manual adjusting that takes time. Other than that, zero complaints. This is our second Stamina pilates product and we will definitely stay with Stamina products. High quality and great customer support. Our pulley rope was cut during transport and we received a new rope within a week.

I love my new reformer, however a DVD with instructions is not the best. I would have preferred a site to go to to get instructions on using my reformer; I do not have a DVD player.

I love this Pilates, I upgraded from a Reformer if anyone remembers that model. I decided to start up again after way to long. I’m an active “71”, movement is life, there is no other form exercise that activities and strengthens the body like Pilates. I’m very happy with the AeroPilates Pro XP 556. Thanks Rhonda, CA

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a lovely looking solid reformer, but be aware that there is no way you can attach the pull up bar as I found out for myself. I ended up selling it as I really wanted to use a pull up bar. Had this had the attachment for one it would have been the perfect reformer. I would recommend buying an Aeropilate reformer but not this one if you really want to be able to use the pull up bar.

My equipment came and one of the factory screws were not tightened. Luckily my husband noticed and could fix it. The machine otherwise was fine with the exception that one pulley does move smoothly. It could just need some time to loosen but I'm not sure.

I feel wonderful after a session! I’ve never worked out and felt so good! Plus it’s only been a couple of weeks and I can feel muscles building. My husband is using as he recovers from a 8 week period of having to be inactive during which he got very tight in the hips and back. This both works him out, building muscle back, but also stretches him out. He is walking normal now!

I bought this model reformer a couple months ago, after shopping for an alternative to high priced models. It is solidly constructed and has served our needs very well. My only criticism is that the interface between the body and the feet of the unit is not machined to an exacting standard, requiring more attention and tools to assemble than the instructions indicate.

Love this upgraded elevated Pilate machine. Much easier to get on and off. 4 tension cords allows beginners to start slowly and build up over time. Great for improving flexibility, strength, and endurance. Really works core.
