Q: Our ironing board is a standard 15 inches wide but the hook and eye strap underneath barely reaches the loop, let alone go through the loop and lock into itself. Is ours defective?

A: Although it is advertised as a standard ironing board cover, and a standard board is 15 inches wide, the tag says it fits boards 13 to 14 1/4 wide.

Order this online when it arrived it was the wrong size. I returned it to Target. They gave me another one still the wrong size gentleman and guest service argued with me. That’s what I ordered. It was not what I ordered. I ordered a different size. Further investigation shows the DPCI on the one that I ordered and the one they gave me was the same DPCIFinally, they issued me a refund. I ordered it somewhere else. He insisted that I received what I ordered and I did not.

Wrong dimensions listed
Online listing says 56 inch long and 18.5 inch wide but its actually 53 inch long and 14 inch wide. Double checked the product numbers and everything. Its also very thin and not great quality.

Strap design needs work
The cover itself is fine. Plenty of padding and fits my ironing board perfectly. However, the two velcro straps they have placed for you to secure the pad in place underneath the board's surface have a faulty design. The fuzzy part of the velcro is not long enough and so the hook section of the velcro strap has nothing to latch on to. When you thread the strap end through the buckle on one side and loop it back to secure in place it doesn't reach the fuzzy section. The hook part of the velcro cannot stick to itself. It needs to hook into the fuzzy part of the strap. I can secure it underneath with elastic and safety pins but what a disappointment. Will not buy this again. Will think twice about buying anything by room essentials.

Great Ironing Board Cover, really affordable.
This ironing board cover is probably the highest quality ironing board cover I have ever used. The lining is substantial, and the corners and end cap are so easy to wrap around my ironing board. This was definitely an improvement from my current cover and quite economical.

This ironing board is absolutely amazing! When I read some of the reviews, I was wondering if I’d succumb to the same fate as the others: broken, unfixable or usable. I’ve had this ironing board for nearly 6 months and use it frequently! It works perfectly well. It stands tall, very sturdy, it’s easily collapsible and it’s compact for storage. I highly recommend this product. I also recommend learning how to properly use the levers and to put it away when not in use as I feel this may be the reason why other reviews were so poorly received. I highly recommend this ironing board.

Waste of money
I purchased this product late in May and by mid August the cover was beginning to shred. I iron, at the most, three items of clothing per week. There is no logic to why it has deteriorated like this. I have already had to replace it. I do not recommend buying this cover.

Fits perfectly! Bought my ironing board at another store, and it came with a cheap cover. Whatever possessed the company to tape around the cover should have their head examined because no matter what I tried, it wouldn't come off. As I was putting my order together, I searched for a new ironing board cover. After reading the reviews, I figured I should give it a shot. For the price, worse case scenario, I would return it. I'm so glad I got!!!! This cover should come with every ironing board!! I highly, highly recommend this!!!!

This cover is poorly designed . I have a reg length ironing board and this is made very small. I did measure mine but the cover is made with no stretch in the design Why do you sell a product that does not fit ????
