I have been feeding these cubes for the last month. My horse is shedding and looking great. My only complaint is that the cubes crumble and become shreds easily.

I rescued a severely underweight older horse this spring (early March). My vet recommended alfalfa cubes as a way to put weight on safely. I've had Hank on the cubes for about a month. Although he's been wormed abd had a dental as well, credit this product for his current hood health and improved condition.

I use cubes as treats. I just switched from another brand to Standlee because the other brand had too many fines and small chips, not clean cubes. I was very surprised to find Standlee cubes just as bad or worse than the previous brand. They are great if your using them for feed or soaking, easy to eat with all the small pieces.

cubes are so hard and takes forever to soak. I have soaked 12 hour ahead and cubes can still be hard in the middle. very inconvenient if you have forgot to soak the day before. The pellets takes also forever to soak and leaves a thick white grease layer in the bottom of bucket. Had to stop feeding standee after finding blue stings in the cubes. TLC cubes soak I 5min and comes in 50lbs bag.

My 30 year old pony eats these after being soaked. He has a hard time eating grass so this is a good way to make sure he's getting the forage he needs. Also use during the winter for extra water in take.
