A little smaller than I anticipated but it'll still work wonderfully in all of my cooking.

I have stacks of these for side dishes at family gatherings and BBQs. Great when your menu consists of a lot of different dishes, but not necessarily a large quantity of each. Clean up easily due to the dark enamel finish too!

I love the handles on these baking dishes, they are large enough to actually use for transporting from oven to table. Great for extra stuffing during the holidays and lots of other uses!

Perfect for potatoes au gratin! This baking dish has Staub's famous black matte finish on the inside of the pan which allows for better browning, braising, and roasting. The heat capability is amazing and it will stay hot all the way through a dinner. Works on / in all kinds of cooking surfaces including gas, electric, and induction, and oven safe up to 500F. We love the crusting on the edge that develops on all the vegetable dishes we make.

These oval baking dishes go from oven to table beautifully. This is a perfect size for hot dips and side dishes. They clean up easily and the enamel glaze doesn't scratch even when scrubbing off baked on food.

I was wrong. Limits the uses. Even bacon sticks.

More than enough room for delicious casseroles and desserts. I like to use this for stuffed tomatoes. Stunning contrast of colors. It's also a great shape for summer fillet of fish dishes. Can't help it...Basil reminds me of summer. I really like using this baking dish for summer vegetable and fish dishes.

This is my favorite oval dish for fillet of fish dishes. The size is suited for long fillets which you can start searing on the stove and finish in the oven. I like a buttery crumb topping. These pans can also go under the broiler. As you would expect from Staub- a beautiful enamel finish, innovative black matte interior which allows for even heating, browning and release of food. I like the size and angle of the handles. Easy to grab!

This beautiful dark blue baking dish can be used for any number of recipes. It is an ideal size for lemon rosemary artichoke dip for a quick and easy snack at a party. Crispy bread crumb crust on mac & cheese. Crispy crusts on roasted potatoes, a fish filet, scalloped potatoes. The traditional gratin dish has been a part of a French centuries not out of nostalgia, but by design. The ratio of surface area to interior space is optimal. This rich Basil green color highlights food so well, too. The finest quality of enameled cast iron available, IMHO. Easy to clean.

Great size for side dishes. Retains heat so it's perfect for oven to table. Big handles. Love the rustic black look, but the enamel inside and out cleans so easily.
