these are not actually 9 in pans bc walls slope AND they are only 1.5 in high when standard is 2 inches... why???? they are a little to small to be useful

The cakes come of out this pan easily and baked evenly. But it is not actually 9 inches!! Also the sides are not straight, but slanted outward. Don't combine layers baked in this pan with those baked in actual 9 inch cake pans!

I discovered at the last minute that I needed a third cake pan but only had two, so I bought this pan after seeing that it got good reviews on the Target website. I divvied up the cake batter between this and the other two pans, but the cake that was cooked in this pan turned out best. It rose better than the batter in the other two pans and this cake just looked better overall. Even my husband noticed the difference. It also came out of the pan easily.

Grabbed this last minute so I could make a 3 layer cake without baking in batches. My other 2 are 9 inch caphalon. This one is significantly smaller and also was the only pan to have some of the cake fall in the center. It’s not a straight edge pan either. I didn’t realize any of this until o went to assemble my layers. Would not recommend for layer cakes
