Q: what is the maximum height for this product? I measured my shower and it is a little over 6 feet. The size on the box says 5’9. Is that the maximum height?

Q: Are there ways to troubleshoot the lack of tension? The twisting part in step 6 is doing nothing but spinning the pole in the base. It's not tightening anything up. Also why is there no spring?

A: xfashionmonster: The reason you are not having success is two fold: First, the end caps need to be making contact with the ceiling and floor during the twist step. Second, the end cap must be screwed all the way down before starting. That is how tension is applied while twisting. Once this is done, you will see why the item installs as it does. Far more stability and hold than competing products. Q: Why does it NOT HAVE TENSION? It keeps falling!

A: There are two steps for the tensioning. A lock step and a tension step. Please access the instructional video on the site as well as instructional stickers on the product to help. The lock step sets the length but not the tension. Once that is set and the rod is in place, turn the unit per the sticker and it will tension right up. Thank you.

I thought for $30 I wasn't going to get great quality but good enough. This product isn't worth if someone paid me to have it. Every gasket broke upon first touch. The product slips and doesn't keep it's tension, so I couldn't even get it to stand up in the corner of my shower. I tried about 7 times before taking it apart and putting it back in the box. Don't waste your time, patience, or money on this.

there is no tension in this device. you have to screw it into position without any tension; as a result, this does not work at all and is a complete waste of your time. Do not buy this.

The pole actually has zero tension in it so it continually fell down for the week that I had it in my bathroom. One of the times it fell on my 13-year-old as she was showering and left to scratch and bruise on her arm. I absolutely would not recommend this product.

It’s perfect if the shower isn’t on or there is nothing in the baskets. This product is dangerous when doing its job! Has fallen on many family members! We followed directions and rewatched the video. It’s a nightmare! Trashing it!

Just absolutely terrible every step of the way and has only gotten worse the more I've tried. This will not stay up no matter what you do. Genuinely. Absolutely no tension whatsoever. the BIGGEST waste of money ever ever. It will not hold your shower items. It won't hold even one. Just spend the money and get something good - this SUCKS and will make your shower experience, and your life, miserable.

Pretty easy set up, but kept falling apart just had the final straw coming home to everything all over my bathroom because it collapsed yet again. Even had second set of hands make sure it was secure the last time. This is ridiculous.

Genuinely one of the worst products I've ever purchased. The rod lock was not pre-assembled on the tension rod as the instructions indicated and there is zero information anywhere on how the mechanism should work. Tried a couple hours of trial and error before giving up.
