My husband said the instructions were terrible. Also pieces had already been put together

This was extremely hard to put together. Many of the holes didn’t line up so a lot of the parts BARELY fit and it took hours to get it all together. For the price of this kitchen, the quality is pretty low.

I am a preschool teacher and my little ones love this kitchen and it is very sturdy!!!

We bought this kitchen set for my son 3+ years ago, and it is still going strong and looks as good as new. I’m currently spring cleaning, and getting rid of anything we no use or isn’t necessary, and when I came upon this kitchen set, I realized it is still being played with by both of my younger kids. They are no longer toddlers (age 5 and 7), and they can still fit comfortably inside. They love playing restaurant, or grocery store. They cook on the grill, or talk on the phone. Even while playing superheroes. It’s still relevant and fun! A great quality purchase with awesome features.

This Walk in Kitchen - Grill is a major staple in our home ! My kiddos wanted this for a long time and I finally felt comfortable spending this much on a play kitchen because I know she will play with it for years to come.When I found this particular play kitchen, I was really excited because my daughter loves to be in small, enclosed spaces that are her own. This combines that with her love of mimicking cooking, stirring, tasting, and serving. Her favorite component of the kitchen is the grill. She loves that the lid opens and closes, and that all three buttons/dials on the grill generate noise and lights. The foam flooring is a nice touch, too. Even when not playing with the kitchen, my daughter likes to sit on the foam mat and look at books.I did end up doing some "revisions" of the walk-in kitchen, using parts from our old hand-me-down Step2 kitchen. I used the faucet from our old kitchen because it is 2-toned, and actually has a push-down button on the faucet, whereas the included faucet is just silver and all one piece. I also used the electronic microwave panel from our old kitchen, which has many buttons that push and make noise, instead of the plain flat panel + decal that came with the walk-in kitchen. Lastly, I drilled holes in the walk-in kitchen wall and installed the cordless phone "receiver" hook that was part of our old kitchen. My daughter loves hanging up the phone on this hook, as the "well" that the cordless phone is meant to sit in on the walk-in kitchen counter is too big, and the phone falls out of it.I also want to mention that several steps on the assembly sheet were already done for me when I pulled the pieces out of the box. I appreciated that, as it took about 1.5 hours to assemble the whole kitchen. Made with high quality materials and I can see this lasting for the years to come ! Highly recommend and exceeded my expectations by far! Definitely doesn't disappoint!

The counter was gouged a bit when we opened the box-this is our only complaint. We were a little concerned it would not be tall enough. Our 3 yr old grandson plays for hours. The extra special touches-working stove and working grill are an added benefits. He takes our orders, cooks the food and delivers it. So many opportunities to teach him about food, new colors and even money(he charges us for food lol)

I have always loved Step 2 products, but for the price I paid for this, I am disappointed. 1. It is not easy to put together. My husband had to get out the drill, and that finally helped a little. 2. Snap in parts did not snap very easily. I could not snap them at all. Specifically, the Sink faucet is loose. It doesn't snap at all and moves around freely. 3. The grill is is not made correctly. The pegs on each side are too short and not the proper size for the grill lid. 4. This one is minor, but the condiment stickers are strange. The example in the book shows ketchup, mustard, mayo and BBQ sauce. The actual stickers are mostly unidentifiable, it looks like possibly ginger, vanilla and now idea what the others are.
