One arrived broken. Interestingly the lids are very well protected & packed separately but the storage boxes themselves are just in a box with no packing. The bottom box in the stack of this 4 pack arrived cracked. The idea of shipping back a package this large or even taking it to Target doesn't appeal to me. Plus I've discovered it after already filling the top two boxes. Ugh. It also makes me wonder if the rest will crack this easily or if it was just too many dropped transfers during shipping without any kind of cushion at the bottom of the shipping box. The storage boxes themselves are HUGE. I think from a design point they would be better suited to have 4 locking clips instead of only the 2 on the ends as the sides tend to bow out without the support of a clip.
PLEASE SELL REPLACEMENT LIDS!

Hi there! Thank you for your feedback on the 70 Qt. Ultra™ Latch Box. Our product mix is very diverse to meet the many different storage needs of our Consumers. Many of our products last for a long time and the lids and colors change thus making it very difficult to maintain a stock that would fit all items for our Consumers. Retailers do not have space to sell and stock the lids separately either. We plan our production for items with the number of lids needed to fit the number of bottoms. Even if we were to pull a lid from production it is not designed to travel through the mail or UPS. Our products are nested and packaged to withstand the rigors of shipping as a full carton. I’m a big fan of these bins. They are made of high-quality, durable plastic, and the latches are strong, ensuring the tops fit securely. No, I'm not talking about me, I'm talking about the containers. These have been a longtime go-to (we probably have 15-20 of them), but I'm realizing what I thought was 1 damaged container is now multiples. Some of these have been stacked for years under medium loads, and as I've moved a few of them the latches have pulled away and pieces of the actual container have shattered. Brittle is how I'd describe it.

I live in a damp area. I keep my fabrics in these boxes. When I need a piece of fabric for a quilt, I see what is in the box. They stack quite nicely. Before I use them, I wash them to get the smell out. I then place a sachet scented in vanilla, and then I fill with my fabrics.

I love these bins. They look awesome in storage, have helped us with many moves now, and I love that you can see what’s in them without opening them up. We have these bins exclusively so they all match, stack easily and look so organized! Negatives: every single time I order them, 1-2 come cracked. Lid, bin, or something. You can’t return 1-2 without returning the whole set. It’s very inconvenient. They also all have not held up well over the years. I have many with cracked handles (the tiny plastic nob breaks off so the handle can’t stay on).

My lid and latch also cracked and broke into smaller pieces. I tried duck taping them, but they are kept deteriorating. I was also hoping to find a stronger lid but not sure how that works.The stores sell them together but I just need a stronger lid. Today, the latch also broke. Not good.

Great size box and good design. However, lid design is not good. Easily cracked. Bought four bins and two lids cracked (quickly and just with removing them - not stacking or anything). I came to this site to see if I could replace them but it appears that I need to buy a whole new box?

Love these bins because I own several others and they all stack nicely on top of each other. Hate that they arrived damaged and I have to take them to UPS to mail back. Hopefully Target will honor the sale price and allow me to reorder because they certainly are a little pricey!
