I have had this for about 3 weeks and absolutely love it. My little one is 6 months old and is starting to eat solids so it was important to have a sturdy high chair that is easy to clean and had a foot rest. After reading multiple reviews from various sources and getting over the initial price shock, I ordered the high chair and am sure glad I purchased! Worth every penny!
Great seat for feeding.

A great wooden high chair. The directions were a little bit confusing so we had to watch a video for some assembly. The key is to leave all of the screws loose until the seat and foot plate are in place before tightening. Otherwise they will not slide in the slats with ease. My 12 month old weighs 21 pounds and is 30 inches tall and can sit comfortably at the recommended 90 degrees upright and with his legs bent and feet supported and touching the foot plate. I put together most of the high chair by myself but two people is recommended to make assembly easier. Also, it is easy to wipe down and clean in between uses. I would recommend covering the safety harness with a long sleeve bib as it is made of fabric and could be stained. Some people complained about the slats for the adjustments of the seat and foot plate are difficult to clean but I have not found this to be the case if you clean it right after the mess. I use a wet rag or paper towel and if it is really messy a straw brush.
You will not regret this purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an experienced mom with four children, I’ve used my fair share of high chairs. I have never been able to find the perfect one to suit our family… that was until we tried the Tripp Trapp. Everything about this seat was a well thought out design. Easy to clean, sleek and modern, grows with the child, you can literally use it forever! The high chair is incredibly adjustable. A huge selling point on high chairs for me is to make sure they have a foot rest that is functional. This is very important to prevent choking, especially when doing BLW. The foot rest on the Tripp Trapp has so many positions, it would be impossible to not find one that fits your child perfectly. Adjusting it isn’t hard at all, it only takes a few seconds with an Allen wrench. The 5 point harness is very easy to adjust and you only need one hand to undo it. A very important but sometimes overlooked feature. It’s very easy to clean. There aren’t a lot of crevices for food to get stuck, even with the messiest of meals. I love the fact that I can pull my child right up to the table to enjoy meals with the family. We also use this during crafts and family game nights. It definitely helps my toddler feel like a “big kid” and she loves feeling involved. My 12 and 10 year old tried the Tripp Trapp before we added the baby seat and they both found it very comfortable. Now for my favorite part of the Tripp Trapp - it’s a gorgeous high chair! It comes in an array of colors to match any kitchen or dining area. It doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb like the classic plastic white high chairs. No ugly patterns. It can look sleek in a modern kitchen or it can blend in with country decor. The chair is very solid and great quality, can definitely be passed down to future generations. I can definitely see our family using this chair for many years to come. Whether it’s bonding together over a family dinner, painting pumpkins, decorating Christmas cookies, etc. the Tripp Trapp will always have a place at our table! I would say the only downside is that at the price point I do think it should include the tray. Although I would have loved to have both options of using it at the table and also using it with the tray - that alone wouldn’t deter me from buying this high chair. I still give it a 10 out of 10! You can’t go wrong with Stokke! I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great quality product. It is very stable and in the time I’ve had it it has remained in excellent condition despite very consistent use. My biggest issue with the product is when it comes to assembly and design. Assembly instructions were fairly clear and seemed very simple until you get to the seat and footrest. You have to line things up just right in order to attach the high chair attachment and harness, and there is nothing that indicates where to line up the seat. It’s a little bit of trial and error. When assembling the footrest, it’s somewhat similar but ultimately isn’t terribly hard to do. Once you get it all assembled, it is very solid and well built. But my issue is with the fact that in order to adjust the footrest, you have to loosen up both legs so you can slide the footrest out. It’s certainly not the end of the world, and shouldn’t have to be done super frequently. But I think for this high end of a product that should have been designed to be more user-friendly. Overall, this is a great product and I look forward to being able to use it as my child grows. I love that you can use it as a typical high chair with the tray or push it up to your table like the rest of your chairs. I also like that there are other attachments you can get which make it more versatile, although each added attachment is a little on the expensive side. If you are looking for a budget friendly high chair, there are plenty of other options, but this is a great quality high-end item if budget isn’t a concern or you’re looking to splurge! I received this product from the Stellar Products Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tripp Trapp High Chair was a fantastic addition to our dining chairs. Overall, I loved this chair for our 11 month old. He was able to be a part of dinners and family activities at the table with our 3 and 6 year old. One of the many positives was the sophisticated look of the chair. A lot of high chairs are bulky and an eye sore. This fits in easily and looks like an intentional piece of furniture. The design allows it to go right up to the table like any other pushed in chair. Having our little one at the table with us made dinner time easier as we were able to serve him more easily. It also allowed him to participate in other activities such as arts and crafts and games at the table. When my older kiddo has homework he is able to sit at the table and participate in table top activities so I can supervise him while doing homework time. The chair included a 5-point harness that helped keep him secure and safe. It was easy to adjust and latch. The adjustable seat and foot plate is my favorite part! It creates a supportive chair allowing the child to have the best body placement. This also allows the chair to be used throughout adolescence as they grow. For older children it gives the best positions for writing at a table during homework bringing them up to the table. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this high chair. Pros: * Sleek functional design * Promotes proper posture * Brings the child to the table to be apart of activities/meals * More than a high chair for feeding * Grows with the child (can be used through adolescence)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re looking for a gorgeous, simple, and ergonomic high chair that will accommodate your growing child, stop right here! I love that my son is able to use this chair as he grows due to its convertibility. Unfortunately because I have a tall dining table, I was not able to use it for meal purposes. However, I use the chair at the built in office area for playtime and crafts. The five point harness was a lifesaver in keeping my wiggly toddler safe and it is incredibly easy to use! My husband says the assembly process was straightforward and quick. The material of the chair is impeccable. I love the beechwood and knowing that no harmful substances are in this product. The organic cotton chair insert is well made and so soft! Although I was bummed that the height of our dining set would not allow him to sit with us at table level, I love that my son will be able to use this beautiful and sturdy chair for fun activities, such as painting, crafts, learning, and much more as he grows. I am incredibly grateful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this high chair that will stay in the family for generations to come!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tripp Trapp High Chair is by far the most versatile high chair I have ever used with my kids. I had heard great things about this brand from other moms, but hadn't used one personally until now. After a few weeks of use with a 3.5, 2 and 1 year old, here are some of my thoughts: Aesthetics: Upon simply opening the box I could see it's a beautiful chair. It feels far more like a piece of furniture than a piece of baby equipment. The natural wood finish blends right in with your decor. This is important to me as we never put our high chair away. It's sleek and modern without being flashy. It also has a slim profile (which I appreciate after constantly tripping over the pyramid-like legs of my previous high chair). Funny enough, when my mother-in-law came over, she asked, "Oh, is that one of those ergonomically designed chairs?" not even realizing it was a high chair for kids! Assembly: It was simple to assemble. My mechanical 3.5 year old actually helped me, which left him super excited about his new chair. Follow the guides for placement of the seat and foot rest that are included in the instructions - I found them to be right on! (It's worth mentioning that adjusting the seat for different heights is tedious with a hex wrench required to loosen bolts before adjusting the seat and foot rest. I was trying this out with my two kids and a baby I babysit, which is an unique situation, of course. It will not work to be constantly going back and forth in adjustments for your pre-schooler, toddler and baby. The hope would be to own a chair for each kid.) Use: We found this to be a high chair that was loved by kids and adults alike. First, my preschooler can easily get himself in and out of the chair by himself. This is a huge plus for me and him! He loves being independent, and I love plating dinner without a 3 year old shouting, "Can someone put me in my seat?!" (We were previously using a booster for him.) He isn't able to scoot himself in closer to the table, so he did still need assistance there, but he is able to push himself away from the table and get down independently. The chair seems to glide gently on our hardwood, but I may add felt protectors on the bottom both to make it easier for him to slide and give extra protection from scratching. At first, I had concerns of tipping but we found not once did the chair even wiggle or wobble as he enthusiastically climbed in and out, so we quickly moved on. Conveniently, my two year old is also able to comfortably use the chair in the same position as my preschooler. They now fight over who gets to sit in the chair! The whole family has loved having the kids right up at the table with us. Sitting for dinner as a family has, at times, been a struggle, but we've noticed their contentment and patience has increased since being seated right at the table with us instead of off to the side in a high chair. It's such a joy to see them right at your level, laughing and babbling along as you eat dinner together as a family. And there's no high chair tray to clean! I'm already wiping the table down after each meal, so this chair now saves me a step. Because of the slim design of the chair, we found it to travel really well. We stayed at a beautiful house on vacation where all the chairs were upholstered. We simply brought our Tripp Trapp with us to use all week. While there, my preschooler also grabbed his chair to join in building a puzzle with the adults! When visiting my parents, we brought it there too so our son could enjoy dinner at the table on the patio along with everyone else. Perhaps my greatest surprise use-case was how often I found myself sitting in the chair! While adjusted for my 3.5 year old's height, I actually found the chair quite comfortable to sit in. While silly, this left me feeling really confident that this is a chair that will be in our family a long time. While I haven't been able to test out the baby seat many times yet with my weekly babysitting, I am initially impressed with the baby seat attachment. Super easy to snap on and it was plenty roomy for a very large 1 year old. The light colored harness straps are nice looking as they blend into the chair, though I'm slightly worry they'll stain easily. Thankfully, you can also let them easily fall to the side when your child is big enough to safely sit without a harness. To say we're impressed so far is an understatement. Cheesy as it sounds, the chair brings the family together and that's the very best you could want out of a chair, isn't it? A big thanks to Stellar Product Testing for providing us with this chair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This really is a great quality high chair and there’s a reason it’s so popular. My favorite part about the chair is the ergonomic design so my toddler is sitting in a 90-90-90 position. I love that the footrest is adjustable and nice and big for his feet to easily rest on. The build and aesthetic of the chair is also a huge bonus as it’s not an eyesore in our kitchen! So far it’s been easy to clean (we haven’t had too many messy meals in yet). The new harness design is great, but with my toddler being almost 2 he likes to just use it as a regular seat and pull it up to the table. I’d say my only dislike at this point is that the chair slides really easily on our vinyl flooring so my toddler can push off the kitchen table and slide the high chair back while he’s sitting on it. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Tripp Trapp high chair as part of the Stellar Testing Panel. Things we have enjoyed about this high chair are: the aesthetics, durability and quality, versatility, and longevity. This high chair is so gorgeous and will go well with any style of home. The cushion and the baby seat are incredibly well made and provide so much comfort and support. The five point harness is easy to use and adjust and adds extra safety. I love that this high hair comes with a footrest. So many do not, despite it being vital to safe eating. The high chair seems to be very well made and durable and I have no doubt this would last through many children and likely even be able to be handed down through generations. The ability to finely tune the fit of this high chair, makes it above and beyond most any other high chair. This is so important to be able to fit it exactly to your individual child and improve their safety and comfort. Lastly, the ability for this high chair to last essentially from birth to adulthood, makes it an easy purchase knowing it will be used for so many years to come! Things we would like to see improvements with are: ease of assembly, ease of altering the fit of the chair itself, and a tray included in the standard purchase of the high chair itself. Although technically, the high chair is easy enough to assemble, the picture instructions are not the most clear. Short, simple instructions but with a few written directions would have helped tremendously to clear up a few things. It also seems somewhat time consuming and tedious to change the position of the footrest once our little one is in need of moving it due to growth. A quick release method would be preferable. Although it isn't something you're having to change daily, I could see it being a little bit of a burden in the future with how quickly kids grow. This isn't something that would deter me from purchasing but might encourage me to purchase if I knew it was that easy to adjust as they grow. I know the ability to bring your child directly up to the table is a big selling point and I love that this chair has that ability - it makes mealtimes with baby more enjoyable and easier. However, personally, we use may like to use a tray about 50% of the time and suspect other families may feel the same. So, I would love to see it included in the standard package as well, instead of it being an add on. However, we will likely be getting a tray so that we can continue to enjoy our new high chair and utilize it to the fullest. Overall, this high chair is of amazing quality and will likely last for as long as you would like, making it an incredible purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair to try in exchange for our review from Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was really excited to get this high chair as I had nearly purchased it on my own several times over the years. The price held me back a bit, and honestly - I’m sad to say not impressed by it. It is definitely a hyped product and I’ve paid for my share of expensive baby/kid products but I wouldn’t recommend spending the money to buy this one. We have four kids, ages 6, 4 and twin 1.5 year olds. We’ve tried many high chairs and across the four kids have developed a sense for what works, what is worth the extra money and what is just aesthetics. The chair looks lovely. Definitely not the colorful or plastic monstrosity so many high chairs are. This blends in with my white kitchen and grey walls nicely! When you’re using it at the dining table, it works well and keeps the kids from moving around, getting my nice chairs dirty, wiggling around so they fall off, etc. The cushion it came with looks really nice, nothing about it screams high chair. The construction is totally solid - nice heavy wood (not particle board!) with an ergonomic footrest that’s easy to adjust. Quality of this chair is not in question! In terms of function, that’s where the chair falls short unfortunately. The Tripp Trapp only has a 5 point harness or strap of any sort when used with the baby set. The baby set is aimed for kids up to 36 months, but I struggle to get our very average sized 1.5 year old twins in and out of it. I feel terrible having to squish their legs in the hard plastic! They are too young to sit without a harness though, and we learned the hard way with the foot rest that they MUST be buckled in with the 5 point harness or they can easily stand right up and try to climb out. Thankfully we were watching closely or they would have fallen. It was really disappointing to me that the harness can only be used with the baby set, and that the baby set is so small. The other disappointing thing was that even though this is labeled as a high chair, the tray must be purchased separately. We alternate eating at our kitchen island and dining table so while sliding the chair up to the table is great, the tray is essential for our family. I would have hoped for the price of this chair it would come fully functional as a typical “high chair.”

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you appreciate the quality and design of the Stokke® Tripp Trapp, crafted from premium materials like solid beech or oak wood to ensure both durability and longevity. The chair’s ergonomic design, including the adjustable footrest, is intended to grow with your child, providing unmatched comfort and support over the years. While there may be more affordable options on the market, they may not offer the same level of craftsmanship, versatility, or the 7-year warranty that backs the Tripp Trapp. We believe this chair is an investment in both style and function, designed to be a lasting part of your home. We understand your concerns regarding the fit of the Baby Set and the harness system, and we’ll be sure to forward your feedback to our product team for consideration. Stokke® is committed to continuous improvement, and customer insights like yours are invaluable to us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were previously using a competitor's high chair that offered similar ergonomic support and a very similar aesthetic. Because of this, I was always "anti-Stokke Tripp Trapp." When we received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was so wrong. We absolutely LOVE this thing. I love that it brings my kiddo right up to the table with us. He is able to join in with the rest of the family. He looks comfortable and supported. It makes meal time so much fun!! I also love how this looks in our home. The nordic gray cushion matches our kitchen so beautifully. The wood is solid, high quality, and so beautiful. I am such a fan of this high chair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the lifesaver I didn’t know I needed. My 14 month old son HATES being strapped in anything. Especially high chairs. This usually means I sit holding him down as he screams and arches his back trying to get out of his restraints - ultimately ending up with me holding him while I try to eat and feed him simultaneously. Enter the Tripp Trapp High Chair. I received this chair as part of the Stellar Product testing panel. I was immediately impressed after removing the parts from the box. Each side panel was able to stand freely before even being assembled - perfect balance. Assembly was simple, though I took some time to ensure I understood proper placement of the boards, etc. I immediately replaced the plastic monstrosity at my dinner table (my previous high chair). The first time we tried the chair, my son screamed as usual until I bucked him in, at which point he realized he was sitting upright at the table and could kick his legs freely. Brother was right beside him. Since then - no more screaming at dinner! We’ve been able to use the chair for meals, snacks, or while I help older brother with homework. I like the clean look as well as the easy-to use harness. I’m excited it can grow with him and will last a long time. I would recommend this chair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to have the opportunity, thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel, to try out this high chair with my 22 month old son. Once he was old enough to take note of the difference, my youngest began to hate his high chair (your standard, run of the mill high chair). He demanded to be at the table, just like his big brother and the rest of his family (he has major FOMO). We began using a booster seat on a kitchen chair. He tolerated this but, A.) it was an eyesore, B.) It’s hard to clean, and C.) It was hard to keep stable on the chair. Enter, Stokke Tripp Trapp chair. Before I get into the specifics, let me just say - problem solved and MORE. My son loves being at table level. He’s much more content during meals and actually asks to go sit in it to color and do other activities. Also, it’s super easy to clean. There’s aren’t tons of nooks and crannies that crumbs and sauces can get stuck in. Further - I love the simplicity of the design. It doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb in my kitchen. It just looks like another quality piece of furniture - I just love it! When my son first used it, we adjusted the harness, seat, and foot plate with ease. However to adjust it going forward, I beeline you have to loosen up the entire frame. It’s not something I’ll need to do too frequently so I’m not concerned but I anticipate that’ll be a little bit of a pain. With that being the only “flaw” I can identify, I without a doubt feel this is still my favorite chair we’ve used with either of our kids. There’s so many aspects of the chair that I really value. I think my most favorite aspect is that my son can sit at the table with us that he now enjoys using it. Before, it was a fight to get him to sit in his high chair. It even buys me some moments of peace and quiet because he likes being a “big boy” coloring at the table.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this highchair through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have three children ages 6, 3, and 1. I have wanted to try a Stokke Tripp Trapp since my oldest joined the table. The high chair is very well made and solid yet not bulky or too heavy. I am able to easily maneuver the chair around my kitchen. The natural wood color is beautiful and is very on trend. My youngest (15 months) is now spending more time at the table when we are working on homework or crafts with my older children. My older children are able to engage with him without a bulky tray in the way. He has more range and is willing to sit for longer periods without becoming bored. The five points harness is very secure. I had to review the instructions several times to get it set up but once in place it is easy to adjust and use. The foot plate is added comfort and helps catch crumbs for an easy cleanup after mealtimes. During our testing period my other children were eager to try the Tripp Trapp. It was very easy to adjust for each child and took minimal time to reset for the baby. My oldest (6 years) is often wiggly and struggles to sit through meal times and homework. When sitting in the Tripp Trapp he was noticably more comfortable and focused. He was able to sit and complete his tasks and eat a meal without having the wiggles. I now see why a Tripp Trapp high chair is such a great investment. It can be easily adjusted for all ages. It has been a wonderful product for all three of my children to test with great results. I will be definitely be adding another Tripp Trapp to our family table.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as a member of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We have been using the same high chair for over 8 years. One kid after the other and we loved it, but now we have a new favorite. While the assembly of the Tripp Trapp was a little confusing at first, once I figured it out and got it assembled it was very easy to use. I love that it is lightweight while also being sturdy. I feel that my child is safe while using the seat and it is easy to move around the house. I found that we did not use it as much at the table as I anticipated, but I could not get my baby out of it without a fuss because she loved it so much. She liked to sit in it while watching her favorite movie, eating snacks, eating meals, playing games. Anytime she has the option to use the Tripp Trapp, she chose it. I even tried to get her to sit in our old high chair and she refused. I love the way the seat belt is secure but also gives her the freedom to move around a little in the seat. It’s restraining without being restricting. The foot plate and seat are not as easy to adjust once the screws are secured, but it is not something that would need to be adjusted often so I do not find it to be a nuisance. I am excited about this chair and all the ways it can grow with us. We have already purchased the tray for this chair to use in more locations around the house and look forward to using it as a booster seat and regular chair at the table as baby progresses. Even my older kids keep asking for a turn with the Tripp Trapp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was SO excited to learn that I was getting to try a Tripp Trap high chair! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this high chair. I have heard great things about this high chair from OTs and SLPs I’ve worked with, but the price tag was a little out of my price range. I really love the look of this high chair, aesthetically it is really pretty, made of good quality wood & has a small footprint! I used this with my 19 month old. It was pretty easy to put together, but I really wish the instructions had words instead of just pictures because we needed to loosen up the sides to get the seat and footplate on & struggled with this a little since it didn’t say anything about this on the instructions. I like the cushion & I scotch guarded it to make it easier to clean. This definitely made this seat more comfortable than the other chair I had been using with my son. He really liked that he could (try) to climb into it himself and that was fun! The feature of pulling it up to the table was nice, but I don’t love the plastic guard piece that helps hold him in because it is the same height as my table so he can’t get as close as I’d like because it pushes right into the table edge and I worry his fingers will get pinched each time I push him in. He also has figured out how to get out of the harness and does NOT like wearing it at all because it comes up and over his shoulders. The other chair he has just had a lap belt and he can push up to the table without a plastic guard or shoulder straps and this is much better for him, I wish this had the option for full harness or just lap harness & no plastic guard. When he gets bigger taking the plastic piece off will be amazing and I love that it will grow with him and I know it will last because it is so well made. Overall Pros: it is well made, it grows with kids, it will last, is adjustable & is made out of wood. It looks great and works well! It has lots of options to add on & is versatile. Cons: instructions don’t have words, the harness has to go over shoulders and can’t just be lap, you have to use the plastic guard with the harness & the plastic guard is not adjustable height.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love that the Tripp Trapp High Chair2 fits right up to our table and looks wonderful in our house. We have a small townhouse so our kitchen table can be seen right as you walk in our front door. This high chair has helped make our house feel a little less baby/kid but still very functional for our almost two year old! Assembly was a little tedious as I needed to adjust the height of the seat and foot rest a few times to properly fit my daughter. In order to adjust those, you have to loosen eight screws and then retighten them again but now that it is done, she is comfortable sitting right at the table with us and loved the freedom of being able to climb into and out of the chair on her own. The amount of customization that you can get with the seat and foot rest is amazing (up and down on different slots as well as forward and back within the slots) and is honestly one of my favorite parts of this high chair. In my opinion, the extra work to adjust the seat and foot rest will be far outweighed by the increased lifespan of this chair. I am looking forward to being able to further adjust this chair as my daughter grows to keep her comfortable right at the table with Mom and Dad. It is reassuring that I will be able to keep her in a seated position with her feet on a stable surface while eating all the way until she fits in one of our regular chairs. The classic cushions are a great addition to this chair for additional comfort. They have gotten quite dirty throughout our meal times, but they are very easy to clean as you can just toss them in the laundry. No stains have set in that I have noticed (the pattern does a good job of hiding some subtle coloring from foods as well). Pictures included of a before and after, no scrubbing the food stains out, I just threw it in the wash and it came out looking brand new! I love that the cushion is usable with both the baby set and just the chair as normal. We were unable to use the baby set currently with our table as my daughter was up too high for her legs to fit under the table but I am excited to be able to test out the baby set with our baby #2 that is on the way. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this high chair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mother of 5, I’ve been through my fair share of high chairs, and boy do we put them through the wringer! First things first, this chair was very simple to put together, huge plus when I have so much going on already! This high chair is very nicely designed. I love the sleek clean look of the natural wood, it blends nicely with our 70s home and the modern look of my parents’ house, so if you’re hoping it’ll fit into your decor, good news - very likely that it will! When it comes to functionality, we’ve used this chair pulled up to the table with the five point harness to enjoy meals together, do crafts, and color and do playdough. Both of my toddler twins want to be the one to sit in the Tripp Trapp versus the other high chair or booster seats we have. It fits under multiple table heights very nicely, and the five point harness is nice for strapping in my escape artist. The simple design is easy to clean. Adjusting the chair is easy for different foot heights and child sizes. Different preferences can be well accommodated. It’s going to be a great transition as the babies grow into toddlers and even into bigger children. I received this chair as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and loved it so much that I bought a second one for the other twin. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a Tripp Trapp High Chair for a long time so I was so excited to receive one from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It ticks all my boxes for baby gear: versatile, long-lasting, aesthetically pleasing, high quality. My favorite thing is how versatile and long lasting it is, especially when paired with the baby set. My two-year-old is comfortable in the baby seat, and didn’t mind the straps at all, but she’s independent enough to graduate to the regular seat and she likes it with or without the extra cushion. I like that she gets to be with the rest of us at the table like she wants without standing on (and falling off) a regular chair. The solid wood chair is so easy to wipe clean and the cushion fits with or without the baby seat and is easy to remove and wash in the machine. We use it for dinner, game nights, and anything else that brings us to the table. She likes her special new chair so much that I often find her stuffed monkey chilling in it in between meals. We’ll keep it without the baby seat for now, but when our new baby arrives in a few months and is ready to join us at the table, it’s so easy to snap in the baby seat without any tools or adjustment. I feel like this makes it an heirloom piece. I plan to keep it long past the time my kids need a high chair and save the baby set to pull out for visitors without needing to store a bulky high chair. As the kids grow, it’s easy to adjust the heights for them without losing extra parts or needing fancy tools, just a simple Allen wrench to loosen it a bit so you can slide the components in and out. I love that they can always have an ergonomic chair fit just for their size. All four of my kids (up to age 9 currently) and even my husband and I can use it with a little adjustment, and you can’t say that for most baby gear!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this high chair, but more importantly: so is my 22 month old toddler! We had previously been using a booster seat that strapped onto one of our kitchen chairs and that had a detachable plastic tray. It worked fine, but I was constantly getting crumbs out of nooks and crannies, and we were washing the tray multiple times per day. I had no idea how much I would love the sleek and simple design of the Tripp Trapp High Chair! Besides looking good, the design is SO practical. I can easily wipe the wood after meals to remove crumbs, and the seat cushion detaches easily to clean. Plus it is compact, so it fits seamlessly at our kitchen table. My toddler loves that he can easily climb up onto this chair with minimal help from me because of the sturdy footrest (and I love that I don’t worry about the chair tipping over thanks to the sturdiness). He also loves being able to sit right at the table with the grownups for meals. The five-point harness is also a major pro: it gives me peace of mind because my toddler is secure, but thanks to the way it fashions to the chair, my little guy has a wide range of motion to wiggle around safely. My one word of advice for others to be aware of: if you have a slick floor (in my case, I have tile), be prepared to purchase grippers to stick on the bottom of the chair so that it doesn’t slide too much. I did this immediately before letting my son use the chair. Quick and easy solution that made a big difference! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this high chair.
