The Suave Tropical Coconut Shampoo has been around forever! I got done with a bottle of ocean breeze which is incredible and get the same results with this one. Leaves a nice deep clean without stripping hair leaving it very soft! The scent has never changed which is awesome. Highly recommend if you're looking for a high quality product at a super affordable price :)

Great for normal scalp and hair. I have full, wavy slightly thick hair and this nourishing coconut shampoo works just as well as any expensive salon shampoo I used in the past, Makes your hair shiny and smooth when styling or using a straightening iron. I've purchased this shampoo off and on for years because it always lathered nicely and made my hair and scalp feel clean without drying them out. Unfortunately, my most recent bottle doesn't lather at all nor leaves my hair and scalp feeling clean. I know that lathering doesn't always mean that a shampoo is doing its job, but when the product labeling promises a rich lather, that's a feature I look forward to. And it's even more disappointing when the shampoo doesn't clean, either. As for the fragrance, it is relatively strong, but I don't feel like it lasts beyond a day for me.

Like others, I used this line growing up and have recently switched back after years of pouring money into 'high-end' brands. I am so glad I did. I have received more compliments on my hair in the past few months since using suave than I have in years using 'quality' shampoo. My hair looks so shiny, fluffy and healthy whether I let it air dry or blow dry it. (I have fine but thick, curly/wavy hair) I love the essentials coconut and the essentials clarifying. I also love the Moroccan shine line as well. I will not be wasting my money on 'better' brands anytime soon. I am here for the Suave! Please do not go anywhere and keep doing what you're doing.

I used to be buying higher end shampoos like olaplex or native, but this has changed the game for me. I have never had my hair so clean, so soft, and not greasy!! For $2 I didn’t think this would be the most ideal shampoo for me, but now it’s the only one I will be getting. I’m not sure how compatible it is for other people, but I have a really oily scalp and this make sure to care of that. Literally the best secret shampoo on the market!

Always used the suave strawberry shampoo as long as I can remember. Love the scent. Thought I would give this nourshing a try. I have frosted long brown hair and it made my hair dry. Wont use or buy it again. Stay with the strawberry. Nice soft hair.

I have been using this Suave Tropical Coconut Shampoo for around 20 years. Why? Many years ago, I read in Consumer Reports that it was #1 for gentleness and efficiency of cleaning over all other much more expensive shampoos. I would NEVER switch but I cannot find it anywhere anymore so disgusted with the way things are in the USA the past few years.

This shampoo does a fine job cleaning my hair, but the scent of it made me nauseous and has been smelling so strong for over 12 hours now. I feel like throwing up, and will try take another shower with another shampoo and hopefully that will get rid of the smell.

I don’t care what anyone ever says about this shampoo it will always be my favorite. Gets my hair clean. I even did a ph test in chemistry in high school and it showed it was a good shampoo so I’ll never forget that. Smells super good too!

Price great for shampoo and my scalp feels clean so I’m not complaining. Only thing is I have to rinse more than usual because my hair still has suds after rinsing a lot. Maybe I’m using too much. I have thick hair but I’ve never had this issue.
